Noel and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary on June 1. Both of these pictures were taken at the Raleigh LDS temple.....10 years brought a lot of fun changes for our family!
Noel and I always said, when we first got married, that we'd spend our 10 year anniversary in London or on some fancy island. Those years went by pretty fast. Being fresh out of law school and having 4 little children, one of them a newborn, that London/fancy island trip didn't happen, but we did take the whole crew down to Bald Head Island.
We loved it so much that we're planning on going back every year from now on. The island is beautiful and so nicely secluded from everyone and everything. When we were leaving the island, and came up on all the restaurants and people and traffic, we realized just how nice it was to be away from all of that for a while.

Happy Anniversary! We thought we'd spend our 10th anniversary someplace amazing, but having children tends to speed things up and before we knew it, it had been 10 years. We said we'd try again for our 15th or 20th. I'm glad to see that y'all were able to get away for awhile. I've never been to Bald Head Island so I'll need to check it out!

Bald Head Island is a beautiful place! The beaches are pristine and the scenery is stunning. You can explore nature trails, take a ferry ride, or just relax in the sunshine. It's a great spot for a vacation and a perfect getaway from the golf outfits for men
