Jump

I've always been a little leery of jumpsuits.  But here I am wearing one (and I was kinda wearing one in yesterday's post also....what??!)

When I tried this one on in Old Navy last week, I was all doing the Carlton and what not in the dressing room to some old school jams they were rocking, and knew I had to get it.

Also...a jumpsuit HAS To be jumped in!!!

Happy Wednesday!

Jumpsuit:  Old Navy (exact)
Shoes:  Gap (similar)

Easter

This past weekend we went to breakfast and an egg hunt at the Country Club.  One of my favorite traditions with my parents.  (and this was one of my favorite years.)  Here are a few pictures from our morning.

^Crew LOVED the bunny and kept waving to him.  This bunny costume is also used in a haunted house, so yes...it's terrifying.

^in it to WIN IT.

^$5 in his Easter egg....oh yeah!

Also, here are a few pictures from Easter Sunday.

I hope y'all had a wonderful Easter weekend as well.  This week is spring break for the boys so we're loving life around here!

Day to Night

We've been spending every waking moment outside this week...the weather has been gorgeous and we've been trying to take full advantage of that since this weekend is supposed to be kinda chilly and rainy.  Crew boo rode on his own bicycle for the first time this week (it was so adorable and I cried and took 150 of the same picture to remember it.)

This outfit took me through a Saturday of tennis practice, housework, errands, playing outside with the boys, and later...

to a date night.  I kept the top, changed out the leggings for jeans, the Jack Rogers for boots, and my pendant necklace for a longer chain.

Also, an in-home date that Noel and I have been having weekly, is watching The People vs OJ Simpson on FX.  I almost wish we waited until the series was done so we could binge watch all the episodes.  It's so hard waiting from week to week.  It's outstanding and does an incredible job of telling the story I've always known, with all the specific details that I didn't know about. (Example..the media blowing up on Marcia Clark (the attorney representing the people) about her new haircut....insane.)

I hope you're having a great week!!

Leggings:  Loft (my favorite leggings)
Sandals:  Jack Rogers
Top:  LulaRoe
Jeans: Old Navy
Boots:  c/o Rack Room Shoes
Monogram Pendent Necklace: Anthropologie

6

This sweet baby ^

....is 6 years old today!!!

This little boy is my bestie best friend.  I'm constantly amazed by everything he does and knows.

Over the winter months, Charlie played on a basketball team that had 8 (very veryyyyy long and boring practices) and 1 scrimmage.  Seriously, those practices were the longest 45 minutes of my week.  They didn't do a ton and mainly just stood around per the coaches' instructions.

When the week of his scrimmage came, I didn't think much about it, because I assumed it was just going to be another hour of kids just standing around, but I was so wrong.  Charlie got into the game, grabbed the ball from the other team, dribbled down the court, and scored!!!!

I was literally in tears and so shocked because it the first time I had seen actual playing.  I texted Noel (who was coming as fast as he could from class) and told him about the goal.  The thing is...this same exact scene kept happening.  He kept getting the ball and scoring and I was freaking out!!  I kept blowing up Noel's phone, and unfortunately, by the time Noel got there, the game was done.

During his basketball practices, we got him an over the door basketball hoop on our pantry door, and he practices and plays (still does) every second he gets a chance.  He works hard for what he wants and that's why everything he touches turns to absolute gold.  Everything!

I could not be more proud to be his mother.  My darling boy....Happy Birthday!!!

The Wolf

Last Wednesday, the boys and I attended a special preview of The Wolf presented by Theatre Raleigh.  What an incredible show!  The Wolf intertwines all the fairytale stories everyone loves with the wolf being the antagonist.  The theatre they performed in was super intimate, which I love, and all the characters were so much fun.   The boys loved it as well and were super in to the storyline and action.

Walker boy was SO brave and sat right beside the wolf's den (the place where the wolf entered the stage from backstage.)

Brave, but just double checking to make sure there were no sneak attacks.

Meeting the characters after the show was such a treat!

Such a fun show and fantastic theatre company!

All Weekend

I've had this skirt for about 100 years it feels like, and I wear it all the time.  Such a good, random find from Forever 21 back in the day!

I wore this skirt all weekend pretty much...to the temple on Saturday morning for our Relief Society temple trip (such a wonderful morning!!) and then again on Sunday for church.  Time to get some laundry done.

Also, I think my kindergartner takes pretty good pictures ^ ;)  Love him.

Skirt:  Forever 21 (similar style here that I'm obsessed with!!)
Shirt:  Old Navy (here)
Shoes:  Not sure because I stole these from my sister but here is a pair very similar
