4 Things we've been up to...

We've kinda been here, there, and everywhere these past few weeks....here are a few things we've been up to:

1.  Chimney Rock, NC

Noel's sweet Granny passed away a few weeks ago, and we went up to the mountains of NC to celebrate her wonderful life.  The fall is absolutely gorgeous in North Carolina, and especially in the mountains, so we were able to hike to the top of Chimney Rock while we were there.

2.  Halloween

My sister-in-law, Lindsay, made me and Crew Boo the Little Red Riding Hood and Big Bad Wolf costumes for Halloween.  Aren't they beautiful costumes?!  We had so much fun dressing up this year.  The boys wore a few different costumes this year.  We went trunk or treating at church on Friday night (Charlie and his friends, Piper and Claire, have been trunk or treating together since 2010!), and we went to my Mom and Dad's for trick or treating on Halloween night.  My dad had special stormtrooper costumes for them (dream come true), and my mom and I drove them around while they trick or treated in the neighborhood (and came back with full size candy bars...oh yeah!)

3.  Christmas Party

Early, yes!  Super fun, yes!  I went with Mary Beth and Jillian to Thanks A Latte's fun Christmas party.  We ate yummy food, browsed and bought cute gifts, and won awesome giveaways.  Yay! Maghon from All She Wrote Notes was there and made everyone super cute, personalized gift tags.  It was fun seeing her again since meeting her last year at the pumpkin calligraphy class!

4.  Winning Season

Remember how I coached Charlie's soccer team this year?!  Well, good news....we had an undefeated season!!  It was so exciting.  I was all in to this soccer coach/soccer mom thing this year.  I even bought a bench for my players to sit on when they weren't playing, had a whistle, AND a stopwatch.  :)  I also had the sweetest (and best, of course) team there ever was.

Walker boy was amazing in his soccer season as well.  He was super focused, ran fast, scored goals, played great defense, and was probably...no, definitely, the cutest soccer player those fields ever saw.

I hope y'all are doing great and that you've had a wonderful start to your week!!!

We love the mountains. We made a recent trip there ourselves, though we did not make it to Chimney Rock. If you can hike it with three little ones, then I should at least give it a try. Maybe next time!

You were the cutest soccer coach ever! Congrats on a great season! Also, we didn't go on one hike the entire time we lived in NC and it was always on our list of things to do... guess we'll just have to come back!
