Each season brings it's own special specials....Fall just might be the best one of all. Here are some things you should add to your list of Fall to-dos.
1. Watch a movie you haven't seen in a really long time.
The cooler temps always bring a wave of nostalgia, so choose a movie you haven't watched in a while. Something along the lines of First Knight, Devil Wears Prada, Harry Potter, When Harry Met Sally....something that you can watch cozied up on the couch and reminisce during.
2. Make a tasty pumpkin treat.
Because...obviously. My favorite is this pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. I've been trying desperately to hold off until fall to make these. DELICIOUS.
3. Decorate something UP.
Mums all over your front porch, beautiful fall centerpiece on your table and/or mantle, sparkly/monogrammed/(or regular)pumpkins all over your fireplace...whatever! YOLO....so go all out with some part of your house.
4. Go to your local high school football game.
1- for community, 2- for fun, and 3- so you can pretend you're in Friday Night Lights.
5. Find a special service opportunity.
You might already be aware of service opportunities, but if not...or in addition to those... there's a really neat website called Just Serve where you can find different projects in your area.
6. Find a special walking trail.
Go for exercise or to find the best fall leaves you can. If you blink, fall will fade and winter will take over...so enjoy while you can!

I love the one about going to a football game in your town. I went last weekend and it was my first one to attend even though we have been here for over 6 years. It was fun to be a part of the community. Hope you are doing wonderful!
Fall walks are my favorite, and now I'm wanting to watch When Harry Met Sally!

We went hiking Saturday and found the most amazing trails that are in a park right smack dab in the middle of Houston. It was beautiful and weird and awesome all at the same time. Love this list! Think I'll go decorate the apartment later today...
yes to all of the above!!
I'd also ad make a comfy cuddle nest on your couch with a nice fire or fall smelling candle going.
Friday Night Lights, yes. I want to marry Coach Taylor.
You have me convinced to go and bake some pumpkin cream cheese bars and camp out in front of the TV with a Harry Potter marathon on!
Love all of these! I'm excited to start making pumpkin treats and rewatch the devil wears prada!
