Beaufort

Last week we took a trip to Beaufort, NC with Noel's family for a few days.  The cousins on the Anderson side are all boys and they all have a great time when they get together.

Here are some highlights from the trip.

Last Tuesday, my dad and cousin brought the boat to the house we were staying in.  Noel's dad rented a boat and we all headed out to Cape Lookout Lighthouse.  It was a really fun morning. We climbed to the top of the lighthouse (Charlie included...he's amazing), walked around the beach for a while, ate lunch, and then had to get on with it because of a storm coming in.  I carried Crew like this ^ for a really long time, and my biceps are now about 10 sizes bigger.  But seriously....I love having a little 6 month old.  So much sweetness and love.

We also took a bike ride into town which was a lot of fun.  Walker and Crew boo rode with me (when you're the youngest of 6 boys cousins, you get the pink helmet) and Charlie rode with Uncle Curtis.  A bike is on my Christmas list, too, btw. (in case you're reading this, Santa.)

And of course, there was lots of ice cream involved.

The weather here in NC has been so beautiful, so we're soaking in every moment before school starts.  I wish this summer would last forever!

My family has a house in Swansboro and I haven't been able to go all summer, but these pictures have me dying to get to the water. I can relate with Walker in regards to being the youngest, it doesn't stop once you're older ;)
