Not that you can tell, or that it even matters, but I'm wearing perfume in this picture. I haven't worn perfume in five years....five years! Charlie's skin was too sensitive for it, and I haven't worn it since he was a tiny baby. These pictures are super awkward (even more so than regular outfit pictures), because my neighbors were out and about. It's weird trying to pose for the camera while trying to look like you aren't having someone take pictures of your outfit.
I was going out for a book exchange night, and it was a great evening. If you're looking for an idea for a fun girls' night, do this! Everyone brought one of their favorite books, and after drawing numbers, each person took home a new book to read. I brought this one.
What book would you take to a book exchange night?! I love adding new ones to my library queue.

These is my words. So so so good. Or cary is really into Malcolm gladwell books right now and they're pretty fascinating.
Okay, so let's talk about your awesome braid. Is it a french braid? or just a reg braid pulled back? I'm loving it and wanting to steal your style!
Your hair ROCKS in this post. I love it! Yay for perfume :) I never wore it either and recently bought some from Victoria's Secret on super sale around Black Friday! Also? Yes. So awkward when people see you having pictures taken. Ha! Oh well ;)
I agree with Emily, hair is on point! also, never been to a book exchange but I LOVE that idea!
Super cute girls' night idea, and you don't look awkward at all you look gorgeous!
Love this outfit and LOVE your hair. Such a pretty look :) You don't look awkward at all, but taking pictures in front of other people is the worst - haha. I'd love to host a book exchange so I'm filing this idea away for later use.
I absolutely love the idea of a book exchange party!! Thanks for sharing ;) You look fabulous despite feeling awkward with neighbors out and about! lol :) Love your style -- your necklace, flats, bag, & hair, all so lovely!! Glad you were able to enjoy wearing perfume too! Little luxuries make life sweet, don't they? :)
That is the best girl's night idea! Especially now that I'm slowly getting re-acquainted with leisure reading :) And also your hair is looking so gorgeous!
I cannot begin to tell you how much a difference perfume can make in making me feel a certain je ne sais quoi! You look fabulous.

Looking good momma!
OMG, what a neat idea! I so want to gather up some friends just to do this exchange, lol!
I too have the same problem with perfume. I haven't been able to wear it since Maddie was born :(. I sneak it in ever so often when I know she and I won't be hugged up too much that day, and usually it's only behind a few drops behind my ears or somewhere very discreet.
