1 dress, 2 ways

Dress: Old Navy (on super sale), Brown Boots: c/o Rack Room (similar), Vest: Loft (similar)

These are literally the worst quality pictures of all time....but that's just how it goes sometimes. (The phone was the best I could bust out this week!)

I had my 35 week check up this past Monday, and the doctor said baby was about 5 pounds, head down, and that he was good with baby coming anytime.  umexcusemewhat?! Of course, it'd be good for baby to bake for as long as possible, but he wanted to assure me that if I went into labor this weekend, baby would be ok, and all would be well.

I'm not sure why, but when I got to my car, I sat there and kinda/sorta cried for a hot minute. Grateful cries that baby was doing so great, and really nervous cries that baby doesn't even have a name or any diapers yet.  It was such a weird, typical, hormonal mess of a pregnant lady thing to do.

I immediately called my mom, and then after pulling myself together, got to work.  So, this week is dedicated to getting things ready for sweet baby boy.

And just as a side note....this is the doctor (love him, I do) who said all 3 of my boys were girls based on heartbeat, told me Charlie would be no bigger than 7 pounds (he was just shy of 9 pounds), and that, while in labor with Walker at 630am, said I should probably make an appt at the doctor's office to check on things when they opened at 8am (Walker was born at 9am). Fantastic doctor...just not great with predictions.

None of this has anything to do with these outfits, except when you get to be 8 months pregnant, you have very limited options because even your maternity clothes are snug, so if something does fit...find as many ways to wear it as possible! :)

Love your outfits as always! And you will have everything ready for your little man, I'm sure! The Lord knows right when he'll make his grand entrance! (Easy for me to say, right?!) Praying you have a great week preparing!

You'll be ready, and will be awesome! You could always be like us and wait until after your baby is born to get things! Although I highly don't recommend it haha! Sending good thoughts and prayers your way!

Um seriously though, I hope to be even HALF as cute as you are when it's my turn to rock the bump!!!!! :) I hope little baby boy bakes in that cute belly for at least two more weeks to give you a little more time to prepare. Again, if you need any held (from afar), I'm a call away! MWAH!!!

I LOVE that dress - and seriously - cutest pregnant lady ever!! You look fabulous! And it's okay to have hormonal breakdowns - you have an excuse for them right now, it's when you're not pregnant that it's not the best thing lol. Hope Baby bakes for at least a couple more weeks :)

So stinkin cute!!! I am only 25 weeks and recently started to panic that I had only three months left to prepare myself for this new baby!! With my first baby I swear I was ready for him the second I found out I was pregnant. Haha, not really but I totally feel you, I have those hormonal melt downs too! So excited for you, you'll be meeting that new baby before you know it!

Predictions are tough with babies! They come whenever they want, and weigh something completely off from what we think they will be;) On another note, this dress looks great on you! I love the second look the best with the pop of red, but that vest rocks my world, too!

Ha, Ha. Doctors are so funny. Mine didn't realize I was in labor with my first 4 weeks early. He had fun that night when he was called to the hospital to deliver her. :) But like you, he is the best doctor!
Good luck, have fun getting everything ready.
