4 things I'll miss about summer

I'm not much of a summer person, and am anxiously awaiting the fall, but there are a few things I will miss about this past summer.

1.  I thrive on set schedules, (once a teacher, always a teacher), but I did enjoy dropping everything and heading out to the beach several times over the past couple of months.  Seeing my boys really start to love the ocean was also really fun to watch.

 2.  Noel was around!  I can't remember a time where Noel would leave around 8 and come home around 6, but this summer we experienced a "normal" daddy schedule, and it was weird (it was!) but so great to see him more.

3.  It is MUCH easier getting out the door during the summer.  I was born and raised in NC, and am still not used to the humidity, (so I welcome cooler weather), but not having to worry about coats and socks and hats is amazing.

4.  Sibling time.  My sister, Sarah, goes to University of Utah, so even though we talk all the time, we don't get to see each other every day (like I would prefer.) :)  We've been able to see her, my sister, Jessica, and my brother James all throughout the summer...and it's been a treat!

^Exploring with Sarah
^Yoga with Jessica (she has an awesome yoga instagram btw)

What will you miss most about summer?  I hope it's been a good one!

I will miss the long days. Waking up early is so much easier in the Summer! I'm definitely looking forward to Fall weather though!

I will miss the laid back feel! Even working through the summer somehow doesn't feel as stressful as my fall schedule. Maybe I'm just crazy ;) Speaking of your sister's yoga instagram, holy cow! I was going to say something to you about it today. I stumbled across it last night and was amazed!! I need her to teach me all of her ways.

Gah, summer is my favourite and I feel like I didn't take complete advantage of the longer days this year. But the weather will stay warm for us for a bit and there's still time to squeeze out a bit of summer fun

Nothing! Okay, I will miss not having to worry about homework but that is all. I love autumn!

I am definitely following your sis's IG, I have been so stiff lately, it is embarrassing how much I have slacked off on practicing yoga.

You look adorable in your suit.

I'll miss the monsoons we get here in AZ, and never being cold. I can't stand being cold at all!

I will miss the long days, you know! When the sun stays out until about 9! It's so amazing. But I'm right there with you girl, sooo ready for fall!!!

I'm really going to miss our lazier routine, too! Not HAVING to be anywhere, spending hours at the beach, and nice weather….sigh. It's almost over!

I love summer but, I have to say, I'm quite ready for fall. I think it's the pregnancy but this summer has been miserable!

i get the sibling time thing - i barely ever get to see my sister, so the time we have together is always the best :)

I will miss summer too - afternoons at the pool and daylight until 9:00! I hate when the time changes and it gets dark so early! But there are definitely good things about fall too that I'm really looking forward to! Enjoy these last few weeks! :)

Oh summer, I have such mixed emotions! I love that we can go outside with out all the fuss of putting on extra clothes! And I love swimming after dinner when dad is home. But my kids are so little that I feel like they scatter when we're outside, so I'm always stressed trying to just keep tabs on them (and I'm not even over protective! Who has that kind of energy?? Ha!)
