Clinton Kelly!!

I've been a major fan of Clinton Kelly for as long as I can remember, so when I had the opportunity to go to his master class/fashion show this past Friday at Macy's, I was out of my mind excited.  I am the ultimate fan girl...it's true.

Loved his shoes...and his whole outfit, obviously.

And yes, he is just as amazing, funny, handsome, and perfect in person as he is on tv. 

He first pulled a lady out of the audience and did an evaluation of her outfit. (She volunteered, so she was excited about it.)  He mentioned that when something is "off" with an outfit, it's usually due to proportion, so he suggested she wear some sort of heel or wedge with the combo of cropped pants with a longer top.

After the 360 evaluation, he went through some of his favorite trends.  What I loved about this part of the show was that he used a young, slim model, a curvy model, and a "mature" model as he called them, to showcase each trend.  ^This was American Icon trend.

New denim.

I loved them all and thought all the models looked amazing.  Another fun surprise for the night was that I bumped into one of my old dancing buddies.  He and his wife own The Cottage Salon in Durham, and did all the hair for the show.  They did a fantastic job!!

It was also fun being there with some of my blogging friends.  I enjoyed talking with Molly^ and a big thanks to Paige for taking the picture below.  

Clinton Kelly also did a Q&A session and was really inspiring about life in general.  What a fun night!
