We just got back from a week in Amelia Island, and this ^ is my top favorite picture of my sweet boys. Nationwide Insurance treated all of their top qualifiers (my dad and mom) to a week full of yummy food, fun nights, and a memorable vacation.
I took pictures of all the party centerpieces and...everything Nationwide did, for future reference when I throw all those amazing parties I have on my to-do list.
They could do this all day, every day.
But Walker boy is his mommy's beach soul-mate and likes to take breaks in the shade.
And both boys took great snuggle snoozes after a long mornings/early afternoons on the beach.
Some really great things happened while we were there. Charlie was having a rough 5 minutes one morning on the beach, and the sweetest sisters, Bella and Jillian, came over to him and Walker, and asked if they wanted to play. They played for hours, digging holes, playing in the ocean, building sand castles. It was such a fun treat for the boys (they had the time of their lives), and I actually finished a book (The Fault in our Stars) for the first time in months. Grateful for those amazing girls being so sweet to my boys!
Fun times with Auntie Kaitlyn and Uncle James.
Since we were going to the beach, we didn't need a stroller, but we did need the boys' carseats for the plane ride and for the drive from the airport to the hotel (which was about 30 mins.) I found these Roll n' Gos at Babies R Us, and am so glad I did. Car seats are way too heavy to carry through the airport, so these were great to have.
We do love the beach, but like always, it's great to be home. In fact, today something snapped in my brain, and I purged my entire closet and entire house, really. I went through a phase where I bought my clothes a size too big (why?!), so I'm selling those, and some that fit perfectly but needed to be gone....my closet needed a fresh start. If you're interested in some great clothes for great prices that have barely been worn (some of them never or only once), go here to check it out!
