Sunshine and the classics

^^SO excited.
^Picked up a little sweetheart to try to help him win the race. :)

A week ago, the sun was shining and it was 68 degrees.  Today it's pouring down rain and in the 40s.  Ack!!!  Last Sunday, we put on our cozy clothes after church, took a little snooze, and then went to the lake to play and to ride and to take a walk.  We tried to savor every second of the beautiful weather.

Another thing Noel and I are trying to do is show our boys all the classic movies that we love so much.  We went to see the Lego movie, and while it was ok, it was all over the place.  Loud, bright, fast, .....everything.  We watched Robin Hood (Disney version) with them the next week, and realized how much we love the good old-fashioned, simple classics.

I hope you have a great weekend, my friends!  If you haven't already, be sure to enter to win one of these beautiful and fun wallets!

Robin Hood was one of my favorites, along with The Sword in the Stone.

Glad you were able to enjoy the beautiful day! I wish we had a nice (and safe) place near us to enjoy a walk on a Sunday afternoon.

Oh what I'd give for 68 degrees! I haven't seen those temps in a looooong time. The boys look like they're having fun playing outside!

Al of my students will not stop talking about the Lego movies. I can't decide if I want to see it or not! (I kind of do so then something other than Frozen quotes will be stuck in my head ;)) What a precious family you have!

So glad you had such a beautiful, warm day! It's cold and dreary here right now and I can't wait for sunshine and warmer weather :)

I haven't the Lego movie and all the kids I nanny are raving about it. To be honest it seems a little bit loud and annoying to me, I like children's movies that can be appealing to a winder age range!

We saw the Lego Movie for Lee's birthday. It was okay, but didn't live up to the hype in my opinion. Those pictures are great...I'm ready to have that warm weather back!
