Celebrating the spring-like weather with spring colors for church yesterday.
The last......
Netflix show I watched:
30 for 30: The Price of Gold. A documentary on the whole Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan brawl, and it was amazing. I remember this story from when I was younger, and it's always interested me. I need everyone to watch it so we can discuss feelings!!
Restaurant I went to:
Noel and I went out on Saturday night to Hayes Barton in Raleigh. It was delicious and I'm still eating the piece of cake I brought home.
Thing I bought for myself:
An amazing pair of wedges from Vestique. Eek!! I can't wait to show you!
Song I listened to:
Paradise City. I'm confused, too, about that. But then again, not really...I do love old school rock.
Hairstyle I wanted to try.
This braid/bun thing. During the snow days, my sister and I were trying all sorts of YouTube tutorials (unsuccessfully), and when I tried a braid on myself, she said, "Oh honey, you don't even know how to braid." It's true...I need to work on that so I can do this hairstyle. :)
We enjoyed the gorgeous weather NC weather this weekend...hope you had some beautiful sunshine as well!

ESPN does such a good job with its 30 for 30s... always really interesting and well done
I remember the Harding/Kerrigan attack (I'm old!). I did not want to believe that Tonya knew about it but all the evidence was there.
Oh now I really want to watch that documentary! I remember when it happened and it was just so sad.

I want to watch the Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan documentary. I remember when that happened!!
I can't wait to see your new wedges. You have amazing taste in shoes!
i will have to check out that documentary!! it sounds so good!!
love your bright colors! so ready for warmer weather and spring dressing!!
All the colors of your outfit and the sunshine! Spring's so close I can practically feel it!!! The sun's setting later here now too and the days are nicer... I'm loving it!
Hayes Barton is the best!!! Their cake is so huge so I love that you always have leftovers.
xo,
Angela
can you tell Charlie to stop growing up now? At least for him to wait until I get home? I can't believe it is almost our birthday!
Also - you look fabulous. I want that skirt. Okay, I want your life.
Obsessed with your skirt Ashley!
Ugh, I hear you on trying hairstyles, I am the worst at doing hair! I'm loving the warm weather we've been getting though! You and your son are super cute!

The warm weather def made the weekend so much better!! Im hoping its here to stay!
Ooh that hairstyle is really cute! I'm pretty hopeless at doing hair so I doubt I could pull it off, haha!
I just watched that documentary too! It was really interesting, I remember it happening but I was young, so it was really good to hear the whole story as an adult. I love your Spring outfit for church-I am craving some warmer weather here in frigid Minnesota! Thanks for the fun post!
i love the spring outfits. your boys are so well dressed!
Guns n' Roses, that's what I'm talkin' about! Personally I've really been into '90s lately. Pandora has this awesome "Summer Hits of the '90s" station, only problem- the songs aren't edited-I never knew so many of my favs were littered with cussing :(
I want to try that braid bun thing too!!! So fun!! And can we just talk about this weather??? Bring on spring, people! Yahooooo! :)
I got in a documentary mood this weekend and put that one on my queue. I watched Black Fish and Craigslist Joe. Craigslist Joe wasn't worth it, in my opinion.
I love that braised style! I have thinner hair, but I think maybe I could pull it off, too.
Loving the bright colors in your outfit! I'm going to have to disagree on the whole Harding/Kerrigan story. Okay, I didn't watch it, but when I saw that it was on, I really thought...why are they bringing this story up again, it's old news.
So jealous of your springtime weather, I want to wear wedges and floral so badly right now!
Do you know whats hilarious?! Back when MySpace was cool... Paradise city was my profile song. I still love it!! I cannot wait to see these wedges!! Your church outfit is just way too cute!! Love you!
Casey took us to the Vestique in Charlotte and I LOVED it. I really wish we had one here!
I can not wait to see your wedges!
