A story about this sweater...and these pants.

Rain Boots: c/o Surfdome, (exact pair here), Jeans: Gap Outlet (similar), Chambray: Old Navy (exact), Sweater: Loft Outlet

For a while there, right around the time my brother got married, the babies and I listened to What Does the Fox Say and Roar (by Katy Perry) on shuffle and on repeat.  We sang at the top of our lungs, learned all the choreography, and surprisingly, never got tired of hearing those two songs.  (Now, we've moved on to Let it Go and In Summer from Frozen.) :)  I saw this sweater at the Loft Outlet while we were shopping on Black Friday, and HAD to get it.

Also, just a quick conversation about these white jeans.  Yesterday, Walker boy and I met up with a fantastically talented lady for an upcoming blog collaboration (very excited about it!).  Walker read his books and ate his chocolate chip muffin while we chatted, but somehow got the chocolate all over his bottom.  I didn't notice until he came over and sat on my lap...and well...just imagine chocolate all over these white pants. It came out, but that's what I get for wearing white pants when there's chocolate around!  (Hashtag boy mom) :)

PS...So excited about my shows finally being new this week!

I LOVE this outfit, especially those rain boots!

and the white pants story is classic, it's always something with white pants...at least for me anyway! :)

That sweater is SO CUTE. And I very rarely wear my white jeans but that's because I'm the one who would get chocolate all over them (no son to blame either)

You look so cute! I love white jeans, but don't have a chocolate boy problem like you do. lol
Totally crushing on your wellies!

This outfit is so adorable! I just love the striped rain boots! (And so glad to hear the chocolate came out. I'm forever spilling and making messes so it's a miracle I can even wear white pants!)

Love this outfit! I'm a big fan of foxes, so I adore the sweater. Also- I tried on my white jeans yesterday and they don't fit anymore! Excuse for shopping for spring? I think so :)

Your striped rain boots are adorable! Thank goodness the chocolate stain came out! I'm always worried when I wear my white jeans that I'll spill something all over them.

I can't even begin to handle the level of adorableness in this post.

I love this whole outfit!! And I too have a fox sweater (though a different one) that I found on clearance while that song was so popular. One of my friend's kiddos LOVES that song and she freaks out every time I wear the shirt. It makes me all kinds of happy. :)

I love this sweater! And What Does The Fox Say haha. I made up a dance for my dog to do to it. Yes, I am crazy. Anyway, love the sweater, and the boots are adorable!

I love this sweater! I feel the same way about white pants, every time I wear them, I get something on them. Although most of the time it's my fault and not my little guys!

Very cute sweater! I'm wearing a fox sweater today too, but you're is much cuter! Great outfit. And that's exactly why I don't wear white jeans around my son, he thinks I'm his human napkin :)

I just really feel like I need some white jeans. I tried on some at White House Black Market last year but they were O_o Showed every lump and bump in the derriere.

Those boots and that sweater are perfect! I wish that I would have purchased a pair of white denim for winter. It would have brightened up my wardrobe! I guess I can put that on my list for spring(: Susan

Wow, I'm glad the chocolate came out! I have the worst luck with white pants, so I rarely wear them.

That sweater is too cute!

I love my white pants, but have to wash them after every time I wear them. I always get something on them. Fortunately, no stains, yet. Those are some fun boots!

Ashley, this sweater is so cute how come we haven't seen it until now? Such a cute outfit with the sweater and the boots and your hair is looking especially luxurious (I'm not just saying that - I noticed your hair first thing)

I love your style! I've been reading since your "yoga pants do not an outfit make" post way long ago :)

This sounds very similar to our house. What does the fox say was super popular and it's any version of frozen. I did, however, get tired of what does the fox say!! Can't wait to hear about your blog collab! Sounds exciting!

TOTALLY a boy mom moment, but they are just so good - I would continue to wear them (just invest in bleach ;) )

That is my life but insert mud and chunky paws instead of little boys and chocolate.

Your so stinkin' cute! Oh, I just started Pure Barre. Have you heard of it? The whole sorta, in a way, dance class made me think of you. Felt like I was in a torture, somewhat similar, ballet class of my youth. Ha! Umm...none of that made sense.

I haven't stopped by your lovely blog in a long while and I am getting caught up. This Outfit is super adorable. I love your Fox Sweater and I love mine from Old Navy, too. The Boots are gorgeous, lady. Great Outfit. I will be wearing my Fox Sweater this Friday by the way.

The Fox Song is one of my favorites too and my almost-14-months old girl loves it too. It is one of her faves too. LOL
