Last Things

A few "last things"….

The last……

*Performance I saw: Elf the Musical.  Charlie and I went with my mom this past Wednesday.  Charlie smiled, clapped, and giggled (appropriately) :-) throughout the entire thing.

*Book I read:  The Matched Triology.  The first book wasn't terrible, but I'm telling you…the 3rd book was as slow as slow gets.  I could barely get through it, but I couldn't not read the last book.

*Time I cried:  During Pilates class on Wednesday morning.  The most beautiful version of "Let it Be" was on and the line, "and in my hour of darkness…let it be…", got me.

*Person I really missed.  My sister, Sarah.  Why does she have to be in school so far away??! :(

*Pin that I tried and loved:  This dinner recipe.  So delicious.  So easy.

*Show I watched.  Nashville.  Oh my goodness!!!  Please tell me someone else watched this week's episode so we can discuss!!

*Picture I took.

Yesterday afternoon, Charlie fell asleep in my lap.  I had a ton of things to do during naps, but I just sat there and rubbed his head while he slept, finished my book, and loved every minute of it.

We have a fun weekend planned…excited for it to begin!

Happy Friday, friends!!

I'm raising my hand! I watched Nashville! And after sitting with my mouth open I wondered if anyone I know watched this show... Cuh-razy crazy.

You are such a wonderful mom. You make me even more excited to share the arts (and lots of love!) with my future children.

Ahhh!! OK, so, not sure exactly where you are but if you saw the touring company of Elf the Musical thats in NC right now, my best friend Elizabeth made her debut playing Jovie on Wednesday night!!! She's in the ensemble and is understudying the role but as luck would have it (not so lucky for the girl actually in the role) she's gone on for the last 2 nights!! So sad there was no way for me to get to NC in time to see her do it but I'm hoping it was the same production so I can vicariously live through you!! :)

Isn't it crazy how music will get to you when you least expect it... Or how certain positions (in yoga for me) will make me want to release tears in addition to other 'toxins" haha. This list of "lasts" is the sweetest :) Have a great weekend Ashley!

Charlie always looks like such a big boy, especially next to Walker. But he looks so little in that last photo - I'm sure it makes your heart swell :) And so lucky!! Elf the Musical! I need to find it by me & make the pilgrimage!
