A special trip

Top: Old Navy, Pants: Loft Outlet, Boots: ASOS, Scarf: Old Navy (similar) Bag: Target

Walker started going to school one morning a week, (the pictures from his first day are insanely cute…I'll have to share those soon), so Charlie and I get a special morning to do fun things with just the two of us.  Charlie requested the science museum last week, so that's where we went…and this is what I wore!  I'm convinced that Charlie's age (3.5) is the best age to take to a museum….they're old enough to understand and enjoy everything, but young enough to still want to hold your hand. :)

I'm usually not a huge fan of cords, but these from the Loft Outlet have turned me into one.  They are so, so cozy and I can't get enough of them!  My mom is amazing and bought me this pair a few weeks ago (she's known I've had my eye on a pair of cords since I stole my sister's last year).

^^Proof that they're insanely comfy…and stretchy. :) ^^

PS.  It's way too cold here in NC (high of 37, what??!) Stay warm, my friends!!

Thank you for recommending this cords! I have been looking for a pair all week and haven't found any that have caught my eye or are the fit I need. I will definitely be heading to the loft outlet!

I love me some corduroy. I used to not being able to walk into a store without walking straight to the cords section.

Love the color on those! They're perfect for fall.

Ok you dancers, I'm seriously so jealous you guys make jumps in pictures look so graceful... mine just look like I'm about to faceplant, ha! But this is so cute, and I'm so glad you get little dates with Charlie!!

Absolutely adorable! Cords are becoming my favorite cold weather gear for sure. Age 3-4 was my favorite with my girls. They are still your babies, but starting to really get their personalities.

Love the dance pic! And I swear, every time you wear that top, I click the link over to ON and consider getting that shirt...then never pull the trigger for some reason. Which color is that one? Light or medium?

You are too cute, jumping like that. I have thought about getting some cords, but silly me, I am always worried about them making noise when my legs rub together, as I walk. :)

I'm not a huge fan of cords either - they are always so stiff! But these look so cute! Love the color.

I've never been a huge fan of cords myself, but I'm thinking I need to give then a try this year! You look so cute!!

And as much as I hate to see carter grow things like this make me excited to experience him as a little boy! Trips to the museum will be so fun!
