On Saturday, I played piano for the Primary Program's practice in the morning, went straight to Charlie's soccer game, and then went straight from the game to a matinee of Cats with my mom. This is the outfit that took me through to all of those completely different events...(gotta love a good maxi and some leopard loafers.)
Charlie has become a good little defender in his soccer games. He ran right up to someone on the other team, stopped him from going towards the goal, and his friend and teammate, Sophia, came around the corner to kick it towards the goal. 3 year old soccer IS exciting!!
The last time I saw Cats was on Broadway when I was 12 years old...and I slept through the entire thing. Just as a side note: You know you're old when you can say that you did something over 15 years ago. I was pretty excited to see it again, though, because I love seeing live theatre. And no, I didn't sleep through it this time. :-) My mom said that I should audition for the next tour, but I had to remind her that I'm not exactly unitard ready anymore (as in....I actually eat bread and lots of cookies now.)
The boys were my official welcoming committee when I got home. I'm pretty sure they don't come any sweeter or cuter than these two.
Happy Monday!!

I love that outfit on you! And how awesome that you wore it the entire day to different events. I'm going to squirrel away this outfit idea for the future!
I love a good Maxi that can take you through a day of different events! You look great and I LOVE the flats!

i don't think i will ever be leotard ready, but then again i don't sing or dance either! what a fun weekend!
I have missed reading your posts so much and seeing your sweet little boys! I love your outfit-maxi skirts and dresses scare me because I'm so darn short though
omg i have never seen cats!! i would love to see it. and yes, leopard loafers are perfect for almost any occasion.
What a great outfit for all 3 events! I would have struggled with that one - I LOVE what you picked and how you tied the shirt. Super cute.

Haha! Oh unitards and to be snatched again. But I agree with your mom, you should audition :) Even if you approach it as a dance class instead of competitively. I kind of miss the rush of auditions and picking up choreography when I think about it. Your boys are adorable and go Charlie for defending the goal!
Those loafers are so great! They are perfect for this outfit and a fun accent!
LOVING the shirt over the maxi...so cute! I need to try this :)
Cats!! I want to go!! :)
psh, you are so in unitard shape! i get it though. every day when i have to put on a leotard to teach the baby ballet classes i cringe a little. okay, a lot. it's not like it used to be!
How fun that you got to go see Cats! I adore Broadway (or even off Broadway!) :-)
