One thing I was really nervous about, when becoming a boy mom, was all the sporting events I would have to attend. I don't mind sports (football games are fun), but I have no clue what's going on during those games.
As it turns out, it doesn't really matter if I understand the rules of soccer/football/baseball/golf/tennis...and on and on....I do know that I get so excited watching the boys succeed and have fun. I got so excited and had the best time on Saturday morning...and all I was doing was watching a 3 year soccer practice.
I loved watching Charlie listen to his coach, and play with his sweet friend, Sophia, who is on his team, and get so excited when he hit the ball between the cones. I guess the knowledge of the game will come with time...but for now I'm just enjoying him looking all sorts of adorable in his miniature soccer gear.
I hope you were able to do something outside this weekend...the weather we had on Saturday needs to stay here forever!! (Even though NC people busted out the hats, scarves, boots, and jeans with our 70 degree weather...too soon!! too soon!)

Ok, how cute are Charlie and the little girl reach out to each other?! It looks like it was a beautiful day - we literally had rain ALL DAY on Saturday :(
I am so excited for this part! The peeing all over me thing is a little scary though. ;o)
Ah!! I can't wait for my kids to be old enough for sports or other group activities. I think it will be the most fun ever to see them be so independent.
We were probably sitting on soccer fields at the same time! The weather was so perfect on Saturday. :)
Even though I don't have kids I can identify with this, I would find it hard to be a boy mom- especially since you're so girly! but the important thing is being there for your kids which you do so well.
Omg, that first picture of Walker in Noel's arms... I MELT. So adorable. I'm so glad you are so supportive of your boys, it really will make such a difference :)
so very cute!
Aww I'm sure they really appreciate that you're their biggest fan! I know nothing about sports either :)

your boys are adorable! and how fun that you get to watch them in sports!
They teach you about sports and you teach them about the arts ;)
We are due with our first boy at the beginning of January. I am so excited for the sports!! What I am having a hard time with is clothes! I plan on dressing him in polo shirts pretty much every day (so I love how you dress your boys!) but for infant size clothing, I can hardly find anything that isn't "cute." Like animals on butts and stuff. Driving me crazy!!
Your boys are lucky to have a great momma like you! It's weird, I've always pictured myself with lots of boys, and then in my mind I'm like, "Yeah, I have no clue what to do with a boy child" haha! It comes naturally I guess when you love 'em! :)
OK, your shirt is too cute. And don't even get me started on your boys!
My son had his first soccer game this weekend. Growing up, I wasn't really a tomboy and didn't like playing sports, but I always wanted to raise a boy. I don't understand the rules either, but love watching the kids enjoy themselves. :)
Love the picture with his tongue sticking out. So cute!
How fun! Little kids playing sports is too cute and funny. I'm sure if he sticks with soccer, you'll learn all the rules so that you can be a certified soccer mom. :)
I know what you mean. My son has practiced soccer, baseball and tennis, sports I had very little knowledge on. But watching him enjoy the game is marvelous. I have to warn you though, watching them lose a game is heart breaking. I have always taught him that the important thing is to do your best and have fun but sometimes he can't help but feel disappointed at his performance.
I used to love watching my kids play soccer too.. well I still love watching them, I don't like all of the practices on top of homework, on top of life, just gets crazy.
Awww... I think it's so sweet that you'll be able to learn about sports alongside your sons. :-)
It is so cute that you love watching your boys!

He's a regular Beckham, your Charlie is :)
I love sports, as does my husband. We don't have any kids yet (nor are we pregnant) but we've already decided all the sports our kids will play!
Future soccer mom!!!!!
Our Fairy Tale
You look STUNNING in that last picture! So cute!
This makes me really excited to cheer Mia on in whatever extra curricular activities she chooses! My momma heart will burst with pride!
Being a boy mom is so out of my wheel house, but everyday I feel like I have little victories. I can't wait to see Liam rock out soccer and expect an email or two from me with tips ;)
yes, you definitely learn over time, especially when you attend games so many nights a week!!! it's so fun to watch them have fun and learn teamwork, though!!
I love this!! I'm actually super excited about the sports to come in Carter's future... I don't follow a lot of them either- but hopefully I can learn as he does ;)
I agree!! I love watching my girls do gymnastics and volleyball. It's fun to watch them have fun! I totally would have had on boots and a sweater...LOL! 70 degrees is cold for my Texas blood!! :)
That last picture is the best!!! I only understand rules to baseball, but I bet it's so much fun to watch him play soccer!
xo,
Angela
Oh how I can't wait for these types of things, from soccer to ballet! I'm so ready!!!
