Festive Outfit...and some random thoughts

Top: Marshalls (pretty recent), Jeans: Gap Outlet, Shoes: Jack Rogers, Bracelet: Che Bella

Noel and I are trying to make it to the fall for some more Parks and Rec (and January for Downton Abbey).  I mean... this break has been way too long, Downton.  Enough is enough.  We love to have "a show", so we've started Parenthood and really like it so far.  I especially like that the sibling dynamic is really similar to mine and my 3 siblings.  Noel even says sometimes while we're watching, "That's so you and your brother and sisters."

Charlie has become such a little man lately.  A couple of days last week he woke up earlier than everyone else and went downstairs to fix himself some breakfast.  It was a bowl of pretzels, but still, how grown is he?!

You know those people that you've never met in real life, but love them so, so much?!  That's how I feel about Kayla.  How awesome is the blogging world for bringing us together?  We're meeting soon...it will happen!

I hope you have a wonderful holiday this week!  I'm so excited to celebrate this country I love so much with family, food, and friends! (This will be the first year we're letting Charlie stay up late enough to watch fireworks!)  What are your plans for the 4th?

Linking up with Kristen, AVShannaAmy, and The Pleated Poppy.

Love your outfit! And seriously, I can't imagine Mia trying to make herself a bowl of pretzels, but it will happen before I know it!

Haha I chuckled at the pretzel breakfast!
I think it's supposed to rain for the fourth here... not sure what that means for us :( I'd love to celebrate with a beer, but you know... Can't quite do that yet. Almost! Baby girl please come!
Love the white pants :) Maybe someday I'll own a pair of my own!

Those are some great pics of you!

I think we are going to see Monsters U. I am not really one for heat, or sitting around in the heat for hours for a 15-minute fireworks show, so we are staying in the air conditioning. Although NASA puts on a big show every year and sometimes we can see it from our house.

Happy 4th of July, Gal Pal! XOXO.

PS- To answer your question - I absolutely think that the EC planner are worth it - they have come up with everything. But still try to get it on sale/find a coupon code, because she does run a lot of specials.

Oh man, I LOVED Parenthood. I think I watched all 4 seasons (via amazon/hulu) in about a week. Maybe more like a month, but it felt like a week. It will wreck your heart... in a good way. Now I'm also kinda floundering around trying to find a new show to get into.

We are taking our boys down to the lake for the 4th so they will get to stay up later this year. Love this look by the way. Simple, classic, and totally cute. Perfect white skinnies. What's up with Downton. I can't believe we have to wait so long! And I'm kind of ticked about how it ended...

Oh I love Parenthood! Such a good show. I'm such a sucker for Lauren Graham, because my daughter, Lorelai, was basically named after her character on Gilmore Girls.

Love that outfit on you - so flattering! And awh, very proud of Charlie - I think the first meal I ever made was cereal and milk, with the milk ending up all over the floor and not in my bowl! He's a smart one :)

I think one of the big downsides to summer is not having your TV shows on! I've been wanting to watch Downton Abbey for awhile now so maybe I'll start watching that now since I don't have any other shows

I love that neutral bag with that outfit!!

I'm so glad you like Parenthood. I love the relationships and that everyone lives near each other. The closest relatives to us growing up were like 5 hours away. Too far!! I definitely always want to be close to family

Stripes and white denim equals a great outfit every time. Parenthood is a good show. I used to watch it all the time and I don't know when I lost track of it. We are such proud parents when our child is more independent. It's hard to believe just how fast they grow up!

OMG I wasn't even thinking about Downton until you just said it! Now I'm going to be craving it for a while! I guess that's what DVDs are for. In the summer hiatus we have taken up Mad Men. It is crazy but I love it!! Totally recommend.

Also, pretzels isn't so bad for breakfast. Could've been ice cream. :)
