Change of Plans

Our Saturday plans got changed up this past weekend because of the rain, so we did a little bit of around-the-town exploring.  That afternoon, we found a farm a little bit on the outside of town, and realized that we are the absolute last people to go strawberry picking.

We found about 4 good strawberries, but the boys had fun running around, playing with the "toys" (I had fun playing with the toys), and seeing the animals.  Walker made friends with the farm cat...which is good, because we are not getting an animal any time soon.  (Unless we decide to dognap Floyd one of these days.)

And a fun side note....I found this skirt at a thrift store. I never have luck thrifting, so I'm kinda proud of myself.

How was your weekend?!

Hey Ashley! I love your blog. It always gives me a warm feeling when I read your posts. LOve your thrifty skirt. Cute! Also, your hair looks adorable. that style really looks good on you.

I haven't picked any strawberries this year. They were a little late this year and my weekends have been busy. So I will live vicariously through your photos and pretend I went strawberry picking:)

Very excited about the Meetup group!

The see saw pictures are so fun! Yay for thrifting luck. I never have any! Off the subject, I love your picture in attitude in the middle of the header. My eye always goes right to it. I've always struggled getting my leg up in attitude/arabesque because of tight hips & back. Can you post more dance pics? I love them!

Oh my gosh your family is so cute!! And that skirt was such a great find...I always have that struggle at thrift stores too :(

Super random -- but those tree logs would be great to slice up and use as centerpieces! I think I have Pinterest on my mind haha.

Let's see if I can list all the cute things: 1) your braids, 2) the teeny tiny seesaw with Charlie and Walker and 3) the big grin on Walker's face while he's petting the kitty
