Makeup and Skincare Essentials

1.  Elf Powder Brush 2.  Avon eye shadow brush 3.  Bobbi Brown Eyeliner brush + Concealer brush 4.  Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara 5.  Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner  6.  Bobbi Brown Concealer 7.  Bobbi Brown Corrector:   8.  Bobbi Brown Stick Foundation 9.  NYC Powder 10.  NYC Bronzer 11.  Avon Eye Shadow Palette 12.  Cetaphil Face Cleanser (I typically use the "for gentle skin", but accidentally grabbed the wrong one) 13.  Cetaphil Moisturizer  14.  Elf Make up Removers:  Can double as a makeup brush cleanser

When I took all my makeup out of my bag, it looked like so much stuff!  I really don't take a long time putting it on, though, and that's what I like most about my makeup routine. It takes me less than 5 minutes to get fully make upped(?!) I have really sensitive skin, so I buy Bobbi Brown for all my base products. I can really feel a difference between a drugstore foundation and Bobbi Brown. Yes, it is more expensive, but it lasts three times as long AND it doesn't make my skin act wonky.

As far as makeup routine goes, I start with my Cetaphil face cleanser and moisturizer. I have been searching for years for the perfect product, and I finally found it. I then put my corrector and concealer under my eyes, and add the concealer to any places that might need a touch up. The stick foundation goes on next. (I use my fingers to apply) The great thing about the stick is that it matches my skin tone perfectly and can be applied to my whole face or just a few touch up areas if I'm in a serious rush. Next comes (a little bit of) powder and the bronzer. (Both the super cheap kind from Target.)

I then do my eyes....I won a ton of Avon products from Sharon's blog a while back and absolutely love this eye shadow palette. For years, I would always have saggy eyeliner under my eyes and couldn't figure it out. I still haven't decided what it was, but this Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner is THE best. I thought it would take forever to put on (you have to use an eyeliner brush) but it doesn't, and, for me, it lasts so much longer than a stick. I'm not super picky when it comes to mascara, but I really like this Revlon kind.

I do a little bit of both, but do you splurge or save when it comes to your makeup? I'm always interested in hearing about new products, so if you have one that you can't live without, I'd love to hear about it!

My splurge is bare escentuals makeup! I have sensitive skin too and I love it because it's easy on my skin, even if it is a little more expensive. Then I cut back by using other cheap things, like mascara from target! Might have to check into this Bobbie Brown brand though :)

My makeup routine takes about 5 minutes. That's all I have patience for in the morning. :o) I use mineral makeup because of my sensitive skin and for my moisturizer I use Yes to Cucumbers and Yes to Carrots.

I also use a mix of drugstore and high end makeup. I can't live without my Urban Decay Eye Primer...it really keeps the shadow/eyeliner stay put all day long.

NYC is a great drugstore brand. Love seeing other people's makeup bags!

I love your mix of high end and drug store makeup. I'm the same way, pay more for what you need and buy cheap the makeup that wont affect your look. I have the bobbi brown eyeliner gel too. That stuff is the BEST.

Maybe I'll have to check out bobbi brown. Usually I use some face powder and mascara and I'm ready to go, but there are times I want a little more.

I use a huge range of make-up products. Luckily drug store make-up doesn't mess with my face. My favorite product is my brow pen.

I have mentioned on here before the seaweed exfoliator (here: http://www.thebodyshop-usa.com/skin-care/face-wash/seaweed-pore-cleansing-facial-exfoliator.aspx) and I also love the lotion that comes with this set (here: http://www.thebodyshop-usa.com/skin-care/skin-care-best-sellers/seaweed-mattifying-moisture-lotion-spf-15.aspx). These two products are my saving graces right now haha.

I also can't live without makeup primer and I use Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting primer and it works so well with the above lotion. For makeup I use Revlon Colorstay Whipped Crème Makeup.

Bah! Sorry I didn't mean to make this comment so long...but I love all these products! haha

gel eye liner is definitely the best, I am a recent convert but I will never go back to my old ways! It looks so much more natural than a thick black line of liquid eye liner.

With my contacts, I have to use urban decay eye makeup primer or I'm an itchy mess mid afternoon. It's my definite must every day! Also neutrogena sensitive eyes mascara :)

I hate spending money on beauty products but my cousin sells arbonne. I do love their products but it's so pricey!! I use cetaphil too.

I have never, ever splurged on any type of beauty products. Rimmell and CoverGirl have been favorites of mine for years so I stick with them! :)

Have you ever tried eyelid primer? Katie told me about it and I LOVE it. I use the Elf brand and it keeps the eyeshadow powder from clumping or crumbling when I apply it.

I also have sensitive skin... But I've found a wide array of products that I like to alternate between. I've yet to try gel eyeliner though... I'm starting to hear a lot of great comments on it though.. Perhaps it's time to give it a whirl?!

The one thing that never changes? Cetaphil... My skin is so clear and happy since I started using this line years ago!
