Family time

Between Noel and I being involved in a big project over the past couple of weeks, and him being gone out of town a lot, we've been seriously lacking good, quality family time.  This past Saturday, the four of us were able to go to brunch together, and it was so nice.  I often wonder what it would be like to spend every Saturday as a family of four, but me and the babies will take what we can get!

Also, can we talk about my taste buds for a second?  Most adults choose an omelette or something along those lines for brunch.  But I can never pass up pancakes.  Never.  And I have to order some good ol' Southern cookin' grits to go with it.  As soon as the plate hits my table I mush all of it together. Grits, pancakes, and eggs all in one bite...mmmm.

I hope you were able to have a great weekend and enjoy this beautiful weather!

Linking up with Sami.

Southern food is by far the best! I've never enjoyed food so much until I moved to the "South". I'm glad you enjoyed your warm weekend, we barely hit 55 over here:(

I always get grits. Always. And bacon. I got to have some one on one time with my 4 year old on Saturday and it was fun. Much needed.

You are never too adult for any food...one of the best parts about leaving our parents' houses is being able to eat whatever we want!
(Of course, we usually have to start worrying about metabolism and weight gain by then. Such is the cruel irony of life.)

You are such a handsome family! Hey, your hair looks so pretty! It looks like you have a portion pulled into a side clip. What do you use for the clip? Sometimes my hair is to heavy for a bobby pin. Is that what you use?

New follower here, sorry for the random comment but...I love Brigs! My in laws live right over there in Stonehenge and we go there to have yummy grits (brunch really, but for me the grits are key!) every time we come home to visit. Love North Raleigh :) and your posts make me miss it even more.
