The Music Man

Sweater: Old Navy (sold out but similar here), Skirt: Old Navy clearance but similar here (in different color), Boots: Cousin Couture (sold out way long ago and I haven't been able to find any like them since..let me know if you can!)

This is the outfit I wore to see my sister, Sarah perform in her last high school musical, The Music Man.  It's definitely not one of my favorite shows (mainly because there are always 4 billion people on stage), but I have to admit that I was singing Marian the Librarian for a week after...and Sarah was amazing, of course!  (This is a cute version with Matthew Broderick and Kristin Chenoweth.)

Have you seen The Music Man?  And yes, I'm staying true to my favorite spring look this week with my light sweater and skirt.

I like that sweater. One of my coworkers actually wore the (grey or brown-I can't remember) one the other day.

I love the pink polka dots! I just bought my first ever maxi skirt about a month ago and I have worn it 3 times already. I love it and can't believe I talked myself out of one for years!

Did you & your husband by chance speak at ECU in a marriage & family class a few weeks ago? A friend goes there & she freaked out when a Mormon couple came to talk to them about marriage haha. You might not even be living in Greenville anymore but I was just curious :)

ps-love the boots!

I agree, Music Man is not the best...but some of the tunes are so catchy. Love this outfit - I'm always a sucker for a great maxi. So sad that they don't make that one anymore!

Love these two colors together! Do you think you'll get a lot of wear out of that skirt? There are some just like it at Target right now and I'm on the fence about them...so I need your opinion. ;)

Thanks so much Ash for linking up again for the BEST OF! Hugs to you!
