A day in the life

After a crazy, busy weekend (and driving pretty much all over the state), it was nice to sit down and look through these pictures of a "typical" day with my boys.  (even though there is no such thing, really.)

A few weeks ago, I took on the challenge of taking pictures of my entire day, which was SO hard!

Good morning to my sweet boys!

Breakfast time.  Current request=fruity cheerios.

Boys play while Mommy cleans.  Then, "structured" play.  Puzzles, books, craft...

We usually go to Story Time on this day, but I signed the boys up for a "Winter Wonderland" Craft Day.  I came in only to be told that I had signed up for the 3pm class.  (Not possible, because the boys are napping then).  But she gave me a refund and we played in the Open Gym, where the boys got to run around and meet new friends.

This was the day before potty training, so we went to the store to buy Mr. Charlie some potty candy.  (He tried putting all of these bags in our cart...and by him I really mean me)

After lunch, babies nap while mommy blogs.  (If you ever need me, this is the time to reach me!)

After naps, we snack, play with trucks, take a walk, and get dinner ready.  (And yes, we usually do a costume change before naps.)

On this particular day, Noel gets the babies in bed, while I head out to the studio to teach.

When I get home, I eat a little treat and watch a show with Noel before lights out!

Side note...I have no self control when it comes to Spring Time Oreos ^.

I hope you all had a great weekend!!

I need to learn to limit myself to a "little" treat. Ugh..I have no self control for anything chocolate. Good luck with potty training!

I love the color of your computer room. And your older boy's expression in the second picture is so funny...he's apparently thinking about some very serious matter. :)

Your day reminds me of my toddler days, which were almost identical, except substitute teaching yoga for dance. :D I thought about doing a Day in the Life for Kelly's Korner but every day is different, so I struggled over how to do it.

Just wait til the boys start having after-school activities and sports!

Perfection! Sometimes I love the post-nap hair fuzz! Our days look strikingly similar (just substitute your boys' blues and greens for my girls' pinks and purples!). Happy Monday, Ashley!

I totally get the whole blogging-during-nap-time thing! Early mornings before the kids are up and afternoons while they nap are my prime blogging times! :) Granted, they aren't my kids, just the ones I nanny for, but I still get what you're saying. :)

I'm horrible with oreos! I'll get a mug of milk, throw the oreos in and eat it like cereal ... Hence why I "try" to stay away from them ;) What classes do you teach?
