I went to see the musical, Jekyll and Hyde, this past weekend with Noel, my sister, Jessica, and my dad. It was a little darker than the original stage version, but I still loved it. (Noel hated it. In fact, he said it was the worst show he's ever seen.) Silly Noel. He said the only part of the show he actually enjoyed was seeing how loud I got during the applause. Yes, I "woohhhh, woohhh!!" when I like a scene. Constantine Maroulis and Deborah Cox played the lead roles, and their voices burned my soul with fierceness. Love hearing amazing voices!

Love the skirt! I am slightly disappointed I didn't win the necklace :) I love it and may have to purchase the one I have had sitting in my cart for a week! I often tell my husband its a good thing I wasn't given a decent voice or I would be singing 24/7. I just couldn't stop! So glad you had such a good time.

I love that tale. The story of the beast within all of us. Silly men. They don't know a good thing when they see it. Jason made me watch a film the other night called 9. I never wanted to see it but he requested it via Netflix. We watched it and he loved it. Girl! The film was HORRIBLE!!! OMG! LOL!
I love that your family went as a unit. How lovely!

I have seen that show, but it's been a really long time ago. I can hardly remember it. Glad you enjoyed and I love your outfit!
Sounds like fun! I've never seen the stage version, but I am excited about an adaptation of the story that NBC is making into a tv show called "Do No Harm." I think it premiers this month, and I'm mostly excited because they filmed all over Philly and I walked onto set accidentally a handful of times. Haha!
Your skirt is great! xo

You look fab! I actually saw it on Broadway when it first came out years ago with my Mom. It was okay, not the best, but certainly not the worst. I wish I could remember who was in it. Fun fact, I saw some musical like 18 years ago on Broadway and the lady who did The Little Mermaids voice starred in it and I couldn't stop thinking about Ariel every time she opened her mouth -lol!
how FUN!!! i have never seen it, but i have been wanting to!! if only it would make its way to LA :)
You look awesome! I like your blog banner is so sweet!
I kept hearing Jekyll and Hyde being advertised and i was wondering why so many people were around my work haha. I'm glad you liked it and I absolutely LOVE what you wore!!

While reading your post, all I could think about was your outfit! Absolutely gorgeous...love it!!!
This gives me an idea for one of my monthly date nights w/ the hubs...a show (whether he like it or not, lol :))! Thanks, Ashley!!!
How cool you saw that musical. I have not been to many musicals myself. I saw the popular ones...Chicago and The Phantom of the Opera but nothing else. I don't really have a strong sense of whether or not I like musicals since I loved the songs so much. haha...

I don't know much about this show...how does the plot go? I am ashamed to say that when I think of Jekyll and Hyde I think of a crazy episode of Tom and Jerry. I know, so bad. I love musicals..how has this not been on my radar?
