3 types of people not to be trusted: Bachelor Edition

Last night's opening episode of The Bachelor made me realize that some people are not to be trusted.

I’m prepared to receive some backlash from this, but I just might be the only person on the planet that isn’t head over heels with Sean Lowe.  His little stunt with Emily last season, (running through the streets to “find” her, just to get an onscreen make out sesh), kinda weirded me out.

But, really, someone THAT buff, THAT tan, and THAT available (taking 4 months off from work)?  How is this working out exactly?

Untrustworthy.

Robyn gets out of the car with her long gown on, does some type of back flip, and completely busts.  Someone who thinks they can carry out a back flip successfully all fancied up?

Untrustworthy.

Kelly prepared a song for him.  Someone who doesn't nail a song when that's what they get paid to do?

Untrustworthy.

Lindsay showed up in a wedding gown.  Someone who comes in costume?

Definitely untrustworthy.

Tierra was chewing a wad of gum during her intro.

Ashley P could NOT stop talking about 50 Shades of Grey.  Reading excerpts, reenacting favorite scenes, and constantly referencing the book.

Keriann drove 2000+ miles to meet Sean, but couldn't brush her hair......

All....Not to be trusted.

So what did you think about last night?  Any favorites/favorite moments?

Haha! I haven't watched this show in years! Not since Melissa Rycroft was on there. That season ticked me off and I stopped watching. That girl in the blue dress on the left looks like she's in a pageant. It is curious why these good looking usually successful people are single.

This is awesome! I thought the whole show was just hilarious last night. So perfectly ridiculous that I just can't stop watching.

I only watched a part of it last night (can't wait to watch the rest)...but this is hilarious! And I'm sure it will make me laugh when I watch the rest :) And in the 10 minutes I did watch...Sean was WAY awkward!

Haha, this gave me a good laugh this morning! Agree with all of it! I noticed the underbrush hair as well...

That's hilarious! I've actually never watched the Bachelor before (partially for reasons listed above) but it does always provide for a good laugh!

I thought the exact same about Keriann. The moment Ashely P started talked, I could tell that girl was crazy.

I must admit this is the first season I have ever decided to watch.

I had some time to watch this today during a nursing session. I actually startled baby laughing so hard at "50 Shades of Crazy" girl
..and the girl in the wedding dress...did she say she had too much to drink at some point?
Can't believe she got a rose!

Bahaha!!! The 50 Shades girl during the last minute of the out takes had me laughing so hard I almost fell off the couch (in a sad way). I agree to a certain extent. I have a friend who is genuinely a kind and beautiful person who made it through several rounds of interviews before being cut to be on the show. BEST thing that ever happened to her IMO. She is kind, but an air head and would be eaten alive by those Trashlorette girls. I think that she really thought she would meet someone. lol I don't know. I've been watching this show for tooooo lonnnggg :)

hahahahah oh my gosh I have not watched the bachelor and years and last night I decided to give it another go, and ohhh my gosh i was hysterically laughing my ass off! it was hilarious, I posted about it today too!

that 50 shades of grey chick, could not stand her, and I am soo surprised he gave wedding dress crazy girl a rose. I would have sent her packing!

I've never seen an episode of any bachelor season, but this is a hilarious recap haha. I agree with you. Anyone on the show is not trustworthy. One of my good friends went through a couple of rounds of interviews to be on it...she is a terrible girlfriend. Great friend. Terrible girlfriend.

I DVRed the episode last night since my hubby refuses to watch it with me, ha. Sean was not my fav...I was really hoping that Arie would be the next Bachelor but I'll still watch it anyway.

ohh Ashley this is so spot on. I am doing a recap later today too!!! but this is excellent and I agree.

Haha this cracked me up! I get so sucked into the show if I watch one episode because they are so ridiculous! I can't believe he gave wedding dress girl a rose! I caught myself laughing so much last night watching it.

This was gold! I have it recorded and now I cannot wait to watch it this evening! I have a feeling that I should probably stay off all other blogs today to avoid spoiler alerts!!

Steph said...

I totally agree! I think the girls who simply get out and introduce themselves without some crazy stunt have the best chance.

LEIGH said...

Hahaha a little cynical there are you? I agree with you on point #1, but you know you are going to watch the whole season and love it right?!

Niki Caron said...

You are so right in every respect! And you're not alone, I personally think he's kinda creepy!

theflavorsofmylife said...

I am there with you! I also was not a Sean fan. And I agree; seriously, how could he not find a girl if he is that perfect? But of course, I still watched it. Not sure what that says about me. :)

I can’t bring myself to actually watch this (besides catching a few minutes while waiting for another show to come on) because it’s just SO bad. It’s gotten to the point where they all try way too hard and it’s so scripted. I feel bad almost for this women- they have such low self-esteem that they whore themselves out on national TV just to get a boyfriend! Haha and some are my age but look at least 35 with all that makeup. End of rant :P

And people who forget to introduce themselves (hello, first name?) when meeting the bachelor. Great list!

I love the bachelor/bachelorette. It is my guilty pleasure. I am so excited for this season. But you are right... you can't trust anyone who tries to find "love" on a tv show. xx. McKenna Lou

Omg I'm dying laughing!! I'm totally against everything this show stands for (I mean really, you're gonna fall in love & get married in 4 months? Yeah, it happens...but not that often!) but it really is entertaining TV.

My roomie & I called the one girl 50 Shades of Psycho lol. And the girl in the wedding dress...I can't believe he kept her, she was nuts!!

I felt SO bad for Robyn...that's what you get for trying to be a show off! Lol

Oh and self tanner overload girl Kelly...yikes hun, cool it with the tanner!

I was surprised that a lot of girls' hair looked like a mess!

B said...

haha this is amazing. you are not alone girl, i do not like Sean either.

i do watch the show though. my girlfriends and i have a fantasy league. each of us picks three girls that are on our team before the show airs. then there is a list of stuff you get points for if your girl does it. example- first girl to cry, first girl to take a helicopter ride, etc. it makes it more fun to watch!

Haha! I just finished catching up on last night's episode. This post made me laugh. Definitely a lot of truth here.

Haha! This is great! There are definitely some CRAZY girls this season!

Love this post!! I'm with ya; while I am generally a Sean fan, there is something fishy about him! I just don't think he is being entirely himself!

The Bach. Whoa. It's sad how much that show brightens my day. LOVE IT. It's hard to tell so soon but I feel like there are a bunch of sweeties in his group hiding behind all the crazies. I wish he had kept Paige and I was jacked that Kacie B showed up! Let the fuuuuun begin! Now tonight I have to watch the Biggest Loser I missed last night....

hahaha love it! could not agree more. loved lesley though! most normal. xo

ha! i am so addicted to that show, i don't know why but it is definitely entertaining. i don't know about untrustworthy or not but some of them are serious kooks! i have to say after ben, sean is a sight for soar eyes. i don't mean looks, i have no opinion on that, not why i watch the show. but at least he seems nice enough and has personality. i think this season will be as over-produced as ever, which of course is why we all tune in. at least why i tune it. i like to complain about how it's all soooo set-up but in the end i am not sure i'd watch if it wasn't.

Melissa Jo said...

This show is such a HOOT to watch! It always reminds me to 'be a lady' and steer clear of the crazy ladies..because obviously they exist!

Nicole M. Hutchison said...

I don't remember the last season of Bachelor/Bachelorette I watched, it's been a while. Are Trista and Ryan still together? I remember that hoop-la. And Jillian, or am I thinking of Biggest Loser? I don't know anymore. Scratch that, I know nothing about everything!

Question .... why is home girl in the back row fuzzed out? Is she ashamed of her picture being published? I'm confused. Again, I know nothing.

Over and out.
fyi: you ROCKED this post. I wouldn't trust the bitches either. Besides, NOBODY is a bigger fan of 50 Shades that Yours Truly. I'm a little pissed somebody even took a gray tie onto the show. Hmmph!!!!

Stephanie said...

and that one guy who wore a mask on Bachelorette - NOT TO BE TRUSTED! hahah i'm not planning on watching this season of the Bachelor, but you're right - none of them are trustworthy not one bit haha

I've never tuned in to see the Bachelor but it looks like a pretty good show! I've seen the previews a few times. I may have to watch it, sooner than later. I've actually watched shows very similar to this one... Good entertainment.

People will do some crazy things to become reality superstars. They'll forget all about their home training just to receive attention. I honestly believe in acting like your normal self, whether your on TV or not. =)

Nailed it!! 50 Shades and Wedding Dress girls put me over the edge. I totally agree, stunts are not okay. What is wrong with a simple hello??

Hahaha such a great post! I thought the show was hilarious!

I've somehow missed out on the Bachelor phenomenon (except for the Courtney (? I think that's her name?) insanity of last season? SHE WAS SO CRAZY. Oh! And the Jake and Vienna drama! Wow, maybe I've watched more than I think??) but I've always thought people have to be more than a little weird to WANT to go on a show like this, haha. And to be picked! The normal people never make it on because it's not "good tv."

The Bachelor was such a girls-in-the-dorm bonding activity last year - we loved it because it was so outrageous and it's so funny once you realize how drunk everyone in it is, and how contrived/cheesy a lot (most of it is). I cracked up at that first one! :)

Head to Toe Chic said...

Everyone has been talking about the bachelor but I haven't seen it since the first season. Maybe I should change that!

oh my gosh we are meant to be friends. both dedicate a blog post to the bachelor and admit openly that sean is not our favorite breed....my friends might sign me up to go on the show but i will promise you i will be sane! love your blog. your family is perfect.

HAHAHAHAHAHA I hated it when he ran through the streets to find Emily! And also...I hated his "love" speech. So awkward to me. And some of the girls this season are insane. Ashley P...omgsh. But still...I can't wait to watch it, of course!! haha

lori said...

Hahaha!! I love it! Where do they find these crazies?!

Kristen said...

Totally agree!! This is going to be a season of crazies

I didn't watch the bachelor, but I still got a good kick out of your 3 observations here. haha, this whole show is ridiculous yet so captivating at the same time!

Meghan said...

HAHAHAHA- I'm glad I'm not the only one. I thought I was getting punked at first because I surely thought they were NOT being serious.

It was hilarious. I don't think I can take any of them serious now.
