Can you believe I lost my high school senior year book? My sister (who is a senior at the same school) took these hilarious pictures on her phone of the school's copy. Some things I learned about my 18 year old self.... I was weirdly obsessed with thick hoop earrings, I wasn't aware that hair straighteners existed, and my life revolved around dance. 10 years later, I've waxed those brows, straightened out the hair, and am now loving life with 2 sweet baby boys (who seem to take after that chunky baby in the first picture). And yes, I'm still a little in love with dance. :-)
Have you looked through your old yearbooks lately?

Bessed. Oh my! HA!
Old yearbooks are the BEST!
Bessed is definitely the bessed :D
Love this! I was my high school's yearbook editor for many years, so I always appreciate looking back through old editions! I love that you won "bessed dressed"

Loved this! I do look through my yearbook randomly! I find it hilarious!
Oh boy...this is fun! And my, weren't you little miss thang!?! You may have given me blog post inspiration. :)
Oh how fun! You made high school look good! That was not the case for me, I don't think I have the guts to post any of HS online, hahaha! My eyebrows were something else! Thanks for sharing these!

Haha, it's so fun to look back, and almost horrifying. I always think "did I really not see that my eyebrows needed tweezing?? and WHY did my mother let me out of the house wearing that?!" LOL
Stop by and say hello @ srrraah.com :)
Happy Friday!

Haha bessed dressed. How did they come up with that spelling?! Loving these pictures and you accomplished a lot!!
Xo,
Angela
Hahah - I snorted when I saw that spelling for 'best.' You were so totally cute then and even more so now :)
bessed!!! hahaha you were cute then too! I had terribly frizzy hair and a fondness for holy jeans. gag.
holy? bahaha I need more coffee. my jeans were by no means blessed :)
oh love this! It definitely makes me want to look at my old yearbook!!! I had some interesting hair/eyebrows as well.
Sounds like you had a great time in high school! It's also good to know your "bessed" dressed ability lives on. So funny they spelled best like that! Ha ha ;).
This is the bessed post you've ever written. EVER! I mean seriously. I know we grew up in Kinston, but that is just ridiculous. I am so glad you posted this. I want to go look at mine now!
Hope you'll find it when or where you least expect to. My school photos make me smile - generally they are ok, but some hair-dos are just waaay too 80s! :)
Bessed.... I am cracking up. Thank God for hair straighteners. You were are still are so cute!
hahah I love all of this!! I cannot believe they spell best that way... and I cannot believe how many pages you are on in the year book!
This is awesome!!! I love looking back!! :)
I LOVE this idea! I want to do it. My yearbooks are all in Alabama and I'll be taking some pictures this Christmas to share on the blog. I look through old yearbooks and old pictures ALL the time. My first thought from the first pictures was, 'Ashley's son looks just like her!' :)
"Bessed" hahaha I am cracking up at work over this post. I haven't looked at my senior yearbook in forever. Truthfully, I'm not in it very much. I blame it on my enemy relationship with the editor...
You were a busy, busy girl, but at least you were the bessed dressed!
I don't have my hs yearbooks anymore. My sister sat outside looking at them one night and left them out. It poured rain that night, so they were all ruined. I'd love to go back through them!
"Bessed Dressed"...haha. Seems like you did a lot in high school. I wish I had been more involved.
This hilarious and awesome, girl!
BESSED is killing me. Editor that I am. How did that slip?!
Ashley! hi! i have missed you some how. didn't blog much yesterday cuz i had to clean my messy house and visit with my bff on the phone for about 3 hours. my phone was in the red zone when i got off. hahaha.
yearbooks? i only have my sophmore book. my sister (bless her every loving heart gave them to Deseret Industries when i was in college) ya! gone! dead! forever at DI.
see ya.
Cute! One of these days I will have to crack open the old yearbook and look at my younger self! thanks for sharing!
"Bessed" Dressed...love it!!! And it doesn't surprise me!!! This made me smile! I wanna go pull out my high school yearbooks now. This was GREAT!!!
So fun and great post!! :)

Girl I often think back and wonder "eww why would I ever wear that?" "Why did I think that makeup looked great?" But what can you do? Live and learn and if you are like me...Never think about it! ;-)

you are amazing with all those accomplisments! love old yearbooks (and kind of cringe at them at the same time hahaha). you are such a high achiever! :)
Ha ha!! I just might have to go through my old high school yearbooks tonight with the hubs! On second thought... I better go through them by myself first. Who knows what embarrassing things I'll find in there!
How fun!! I love going through old yearbooks. You were so cute!
And please tell me bessed dressed was supposed to be ironic and witty.. :D
So not fair - you were super cute even back then, you were an overachiever and you had great style! Wish my high school years were so good. I was named class clown and biggest show off! LOL!

You're brave! I'm too scared to look at my HS photo album and my overly teased hair (yes i still teased my hair past the 80's)
haha that is too much! It almost makes me want to pull my senior book out!
Let's not even talk about my yearbook pictures, hair straighteners didn't even exist like they do now, I had a flat clamp like tool I used (and it didn't even work that well). Fun fact, my future sister-in-law was a senior when I was a freshman, so we were both in the same yearbook (we didn't know each other then though).
You were such an involved student! It is so hilarious looking back at old yearbooks!
You are one brave girl posting your high school pics! LOL. I am not ashamed of anything, but let's just say I was having a bad hair day, every day ;)
XX,
Miranda
hilarious! i love it!!
Look at little dancing Ashley:) You are too precious and let's not even talk about my high school year books. I hadn't even heard about a brush at that time. And Jr Miss! Yes!!
"Bessed" dressed.. oh my goodness. Ha! I was actually looking through my old yearbooks yesterday. They're at least good for some serious laughs at my hair and clothing choices!
I love this!! makes me want to take my book out and look back on my high school days!

Oh this absolutely cracked me up because my yearbook stuff is way more embarrassing, you look so cute ;) dancing and all!!
I love that best was spelled totally wrong! Ha!
I am loving all the dance pictures! :)
Ha! I love going back in time and looking at old photos, reminiscing and all. Haven't busted out my yearbook in a while though, may have to do that soon and show my boys ;)
How sad that you lost it! And weren't you quite the over-achiever :) I don't think we had big spotlights of us like that even our senior years-- I will have to go dig through and see if I can find mine now :)
bessed dressed?? was that a joke? wow
Bessed... so funny! You were quite the accomplished high school student! I barely survived two years of french... foreign languages are not my cup of tea. :P I do, however, remember making a delicious buche de noel for my class project! :)
Oh my goodness you were cute! I haven't looked at my yearbooks is so long! Might have to pull those out soon!
