Favorite Pants

Pants and Top:  Loft,  Necklace:  Apricot Lane

I found these amazing and cozy skinnies at Loft on Black Friday.  I love taking the boys different places every day, but have a major conflict.  I don't want to wear something that I'm not comfortable in because I'm carting 2 boys around, but at the same time I don't want to become one of those moms that wears her yoga pants everywhere.  (Guaranteed the next time you see me, I'll be wearing yoga pants..just because I wrote that.)  So, this is a nice, in-between, outfit for story time, parks, museums, and all the other outings with my boys.

What do you wear when you want to be cozy and cute?

PS.  Don't forget to enter the giveaway for a monogrammed iPhone case!

I actually really love blue jeans for pants that are both comfortable and look good. Of course, I'm also from the generation that thinks jeans are practically professional-wear, so maybe that's a little too casual for most people!

Just have to say that you look great with bangs! I normally don't love them on people, but you wear them so well!

I love these! I totally agree about the "in-between" look... That's usually what I'm going for as a teacher. I could be super dressed up, but let's face it... I'd be miserable trying to help the kids. =) And your bangs are awesome. I've been thinking about getting mine cut and I might just have to take this picture along! Sorry, end of crazy-long comment now. =)

Haha I actually wear Pilates pants ALL the time. If I am dressed different then you know I put effort into it... But I kind of think being a Pilates instructor gives me a good excuse lol. Love the cozy chic look :)

Comfy and cute! The long necklace just adds a little sparkle and dress- perfect!

I totally get you on this! Comfort and ease without looking like a slob....a fine line to walk sometimes. :)

I have pants like this that I love! Especially now that I'm pregnant. They look great with everything and are super comfy. Much better then jeans at this point for my growing belly:)

You are always so adorable. Ive been staying away from the LOFT because I'm trying to finish Christmas shopping for others first, but I'm in desperate need of pants... So you may have just talked me into going ;)

those are perfect on you!!! love them!

Love it! I love flat-footed boots: still stylish, yet comfy. I wore a loose, wide-legged jean yesterday because my tummy is still tender from surgery and my mom teased me because apparently, they were woefully out of fashion. In the yard sale box they go! :D

Love this outfit on you! I remember you saying you wanted black skinny jeans so yay for finding a pair!
This is seriously the perfect outfit when running around with the boys.

So cute and comfy! And that necklace is the perfect addition for this outfit - a fun pop of color but still simple :)

Oh I'm bad - I'll just wear running tights / skiing tights around. And I don't even have kids to use as an excuse

Perfectly cute and comfy. This looks like something I would wear to shop in all day. The necklace is the perfect accessory and pop of color!

Cozy and cute normally entails an oversized sweater and skinny jeans with Toms or boots...however, my skinny jeans aren't so skinny anymore. They're SOOO BAGGY on my 4 months post partum body, which I should be happy about... but I don't want to buy anything new! :)

PS - your hair is ALWAYS immaculate!

unfortunately i usually just wear yoga pants when i want to be comfy, even though i'm not a soccer mom! (yet) the black jeans with a cozy sweater is a great idea! and the necklace adds just the right touch of elegance.

I love wearing a pair of leggings and throwing on a comfy jersey dress. It's basically like wearing pajamas, but appropriate for public places ;)

Wow, these are so cute on you and they look super cozy! I struggle with this daily because I don't have my own kids but I nanny every day and I don't drive the kids anywhere ... nor do I ever see anyone unless we run into someone on our walk. hahah Love those jeans though. And Have I told you how much I love your bangs? LOVE them!

I just bought some pants from Loft and when I got home they were too big. I don't know what it is about that store. I have had to get rid of several pairs of pants because they fit fine in the store but then I put them on, wear them once and they are 2 sizes too big. Love this black and gray look. And love your boots!

Love the pants! I am always looking for something cozy - that can try to take the place of my yoga pants. Or - maybe I should just buy additional yoga pants...hmmm.
