Mixing it up

Skirt: F21 similar here, Top: H&M similar here, Necklace: Ann Taylor

Let's be honest...some pattern mixing is down right scary.  But I do enjoy spicing things up a bit every now and then, and stuck with my go-to, classic, black and white.  Some people feel totally ok with pairing some pattern mixing with bold accessories, but I like to keep things simple and neutral.  (And no, I'm not barefoot as it may appear...I'm wearing my flesh colored flats).

What about you?  Do you like mixing patterns? (And if so, what are your favorites to mix?)

Linking up here.

I'm still too big of a pansy for the pattern mixing but love when people are bold enough to do it. And you, my dear, are totally rocking it!

I'm scared of mixing patterns too. This, however, is adorable and doesn't feel forced at all! :)

This is my favorite way to mix patterns (stripes/polka dots). You kept it clean and simple without going crazy.

I also like stripes and leopard or stripes and floral. I am kind of a boring pattern mixer :) Heather

I love this look!! I always feel like I can't pull it off but maybe I will try! You look so cute :)

Polka dots and stripes are my kind of pattern mixing. I'm not really a risk taker so it would take a lot for me to try mixing especially considering most of my clothes are neutral and have no pattern at all.

I am one who can NOT pull off pattern mixing. I think you have to have a certain look to be able to do that. You, my friend, certainly pull it off well!
