Let's have some Emmy talk. I could go on about some of the dresses that looked like really bad prom outfits....but instead I'll focus on the gorgeous ones.
Here are my top 3 picks from last night's Emmy Awards.
THIRD PLACE
Julie Bowen
A classic style with a ridiculously bright color....I love it.
SECOND PLACE
Julianne Moore
When she came on the screen, I said "Wowww" out loud. How refreshing is it to see a gorgeous, MODEST gown?!
FIRST PLACE
Ginnifer Goodwin
Goodness gracious, I'm in love with this gown. It's so simple in style but so complex in pattern. And how stunning does she look in it? I would buy a dress like this in a heartbeat.
I'm seeing a definite pattern in my swooning. Simple style with a brilliant color or style.

I also quite liked the dresses of Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Leslie Mann. But it was weird this year--there were a lot of dresses I liked aspects, but not the whole dress (too low, too bland, too overall weird :).
I didn't watch it but all I really care about seeing is the dresses so I'm glad you posted some! I LOVE julie bowen's dress!
I didn't watch but I looked at all the style photos. I really like Kristen Wiig's understated look - she's really quite beautiful I think
I love the bright yellow dresses! It's sooooo refreshing to see something modest and stylish!
I loved Tina Fey's dress.
I loved Julie Bowen until she gave her acceptance speech. Granted I didn't watch all of it, I was very busy watching Long Island Medium and crying. Like you do.
Julie Bowen's dress was gorgeous, but I wish she would eat a hamburger -- or six. She was looking extremely thin.

So funny - I had the exact three picked as my favorites!! I went on & on raving about Julianne Moore's dress and how much I loved that she was modest and beautiful!
i love Julie Bowen's dress! i think she looks great! i also liked Guiliana Rancic's black dress. very classic
What I noticed us that almost everyone played it safe. There were good gowns but not great.
I love love loved Julie Bowen's whole look last night. Something seems a little off with her face though, no? Maybe a little botox?

I must confess I didn't watch- but I do love look at websites with all the dresses the next day. And yes- there are usually not too many modest dresses
so i missed the whole thing and actually didn't even know it was coming on, ha! however, i'm loving this recap of the best dressed....i need the second dress on my bod like right now haha!
