Green and Navy Bridal Shower

Blurred out all the location details

The bride!

Banner made by my sister in law

Ok, these fruit things actually looked pretty cute when I took them out of the freezer....they had been sitting out for forever before I took a picture....errrgghh.  I gave my sister in law, Laurie, a bridal shower last week.  Everything turned out really nice.  A chili bar, awesome presents to get the bride started on her new adventure of being a wife(!), and yummy treats.  I told her to enjoyyyyy being engaged....so much fun to be pampered, look at flowers all day, and to just be excited!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

How nice! I loved bridal showers. I think they were my favorite part of all the prewedding stuff.

How fun! Love the color combination. And I love your advice to just enjoy being engaged. My husband and I had almost a 2 year engagement and I loved it - we didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed and it was nice to just enjoy the ride.

What are those fruit things called? We have a festival of sorts called the Red River Revel and they sell these. They are so good!

Are those fruit sorbets stuffed in lemon peels? They look good to me, melted and all. :)

So cool that you teach dance. Do you teach the kiddos, adults or both? I taught classes for a little bit. Higher schoolers and up.

It is amazing to me how dance teachers can keep coming up with new choreography all the time.
