Proud

Yesterday, at the park, Charlie turned to the little boy playing beside him and said something I hope I never forget.  He got the boy's attention, pointed to me, and said "That's my mommy."  I'm telling you right now.....I had to fight back tears.  I'm sure I will be the source of many of his embarrassing moments....making him and his brother wear matching outfits, being "that" mom that peaks inside his kindergarten classroom every 5 minutes (for the entire year), and somehow making an appearance in every single one of his wedding photos....but for now my Charlie is proud that I am his mommy.  And I am so in love with him.

This melts my heart! My mom used to tell me that no one will love you more than your kids do...until they are teenagers. LOL!

What a sweet little boy!!! I am sure he will change his mind once you start picking out his girlfriends, dancing at his middle school dances and kissing him in public when he is older :)

Oh my goodness Ashley, I literally said "AWWW" out loud. That is so heartwarming and precious. Definitely a moment to remember forever, and even if he doesn't point you out to other kids forever, you will always know how proud he is of you :)

Aw, that is sooo sweet! Those are the moments we'll draw from when they are teens. I write them down. The other thing I've done is record their voices because they are so cute at this stage!
