I love that Einstein quote! And I also love Green Eggs and Ham :) That was one of my favorites growing up. I definitely think reading helps ignite imagination and creativity!!
Oh My Gosh! Can I please hold your baby and love on all those baby rolls? Your kids are adorable--lucky you! Carolyn http://sillyhappysweet.blogspot.com
We LOVE reading too! I started reading when I was pregnant. I wanted to simulate the brain early ;-) Haha! Morehead-Cain Scholars don't just make themselves either ;-) We love chapter books (Tuck Everlasting, Sarah Plain and Tall, Skylark, Bridge to Terabithia, etc) for bath time and bed time. It makes both of the girls calm down. I think they just like hearing my voice.
OK, kinda of deep here, I go back and forth with the princess fairy tales....I mean both of my girls love all the princesses, but sometimes I wonder if it will make them expect more and not realize that life is NOT a freaking fairytale!! Thoughts? I know, I am probably looking way to much into this. xo, Shanna
I started reading to my boys when they were about 8 months old. My oldest still loves his stories and the baby is starting to love them now that we have started.
SO sweet! Love the pictures!! I can't wait to read fairytales my baby :) And you should see our Disney collection... it's out of control considering this is our first pregnancy :)
Reading has been and still is my favorite thing to do with my kids. When Lucas was little it was just about the only time he would sit still and we would read for a long time
I love that quote by Einstein. It is so true. I actually checked out a book from the library recently with the Grimm Fairy Tales. It was interesting to see how they compared to the stories we were told as children.

We're pretty big on Dr. Seuss in this house...I love reading to my Bree too. We read some books so many times, she memorizes them!
Have a fabulous weekend :)
