Could I BE any more excited about this season of the Bachelorette?
Well, I was until I saw the opening.
Snooze alert.
Anyways...here are my predictions for her top 3.
And here are some of my random thoughts throughout the episode....
I almost don’t like her for
doing this..... A young daughter who has
never known her dad, and she’s putting her dating life out there for the whole world to
see.
The pic of Emily and her
daughter that shows up on every commercial is super creepy.
Her house? Her car?
Single mom? Thank you father in
law Hendricks!!
Kalon. “modern southern gentlemen” Not my first impression. Reminds me of Frank from Allie’s season.
All the guys are super well dressed.
David. Singer/Songwriter. Awesome song :/ ("Emily, oh Emily") Kinda reminds of this one.
Except Elmo did it a billion times better.
There’s a CHARLIE!!! Good thing he’s sweet and has a bull dog
because he is kind of unattractive.
Arie. Racecar driver. Super good looking.
Emily's welcome dress is absolutely
stunning.
Doug(!) with the 11 year old kid. Love their conversation.
Jef. Like with one f? You do realize that she is a mother and is
wondering who is going to pick that skateboard up? Get yourself together.
Stevie. You and Jef.
Do you realize she does not want a child?
The guy with the slippers. Is that a Manolo? Prada?
Get that mess away from her.

i had been waiting for your review. I didn't watch it but did catch the rose ceremony. I thought it was recording but I guess it didn't. I tried to tell myself i wasn't going to watch it due to all the emotional drama with Ben the last two seasons but don't worry i some how always watch it!
I definitely watched it but it was almost like watching a train wreck. I guess the first show of every season is though. Awkward! Arie is my pick so far! Hopefully the season gets better.
Definitely snooze alert! I hope it gets more exciting as the season goes on. She seems to lack personality. Kalon is a massive jerk! I'm just glad it wasn't Bentley in the helicopter, I was a little worried about that.
I don't watch, but from your picks I would vote doug. He's the best looking and being a single dad, you know he's gonna have more of the qualities she's looking for.
i, of course, watched this! i think the first few episodes are always a little boring because there are too many people. i liked doug and arie, but not so sure about chris yet. we shall see!
Didn't watch and probably won't but will definitely enjoy our recaps. :)

I havent watched, but I do wonder abuot the motives here, especially for her daughter. Like when you go to pick up your kid from school and people ask how your spend-the-night date went? Awkward.
I'm a little in love with skater boy.
I wish she didn't have so much plastic surgery (those fake teeth are obnoxious).
And her opening dress wasn't that great.
BUT I do think she is sincerely a nice person and a good mom and wants to find love. So I will for sure stalk along!
I agree with you...I think Emily might be looking for a little fame over love...I mean, she is a gorgeous girl that could easily find Prince Charming without showcasing it on TV.

Listen, I watched it, I do not have the grace /memory to recall all of the men. All I know for sure is that whoever held up the note that said< "you are beautiful" & "I am so nervous" I love him.
And that race car driver, he just wins. when so many of the men were just not even cute. (yep, I'm shallow) oh and that boy that cried at the end, after twenty seconds w/Emily.. I asked my friend if we were watching The Bachelor, and he was really a girl. C'mon right?
Not watching the show... but it definitely sounds interesting.

aw, i actually really liked jef. i think that he comes off as playful but also is very successful. i mean, he did start his own company. i hope he at least makes it to the top 5!! fingers crossed!
and i did like arie, too :)
