It's true. No one, besides toddler boys, should ever, EVER wear a pair of Crocs.
"I'm sexy and I know it."
It's true my friends. I own (and wear) a pair of Crocs. Noel was watching me take these pictures and get this post together and said, "You're getting rid of your Crocs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Um, woah. Don't act like you don't love these.
It's not like I wear these monsters out anywhere. I love them for taking out the trash, taking the boys for a stroller ride down the street, and the big brown spot on the front is from painting furniture in the garage.
But, I think the time has come well, it's probably passed time to get rid of these.
But what to replace them with?
When I want to take the boys on a quick stroll, unload the car, and so on and so on, I need a quick slip on shoe.
Here are the contenders.
I really like the look of a white Sperry. Classic and goes with everything. I also like the quick slip-on, light-weight feature of a Tom.
Downsides: The white Sperrys are, well, white. And I'm not a college student nor a hipster, so I don't know if Toms are the way to go.
Who wins? The Sperrys or the Toms?

I have two pair of classic TOMS, a pair of TOMS wedges and a pair of TOMS ballet flats and I love them all!
Oh Ashely, my love, trash those! I had to break free when we moved in the fall. Now I find myself looking down at my 10 year old rainbows which may be just as bad :)
I LOVE my Toms! I have 2 pair. I was a little skeptical at first because "everybody had them." I finally broke down and got a pair. They're super comfortable and easy to slip on and go. I'm a teacher so I love any pair of shoes that doesn't hurt my feet and that gives me enough support to keep my back from hurting after standing all day. I even wear them when they don't completely match what I'm wearing-which is the case today. I have Sperrys too and like them, but Toms get my vote.

TOMS are definitely the way to go!! I've had mine for two years now, and I've worn all kinds of holes through them (I'm in desperate need of a replacement!) But they are easy to slip on and wear with everything. I think TOMS are much more versatile compared to boat shoes.
I LOVE my toms but I'm considering Sperrys too. They look a little more classy!
Ohmygosh I can't believe you own a pair of Crocs. {Seriously, though, I have a pair of Rainbows that I should never wear in public again... they're pretty gross. I recently bought a pair of Saltwaters to replace them.} I've never owned either Toms or Sperrys, so I don't have a vote, but I'm interested to hear what you decide and what you think of them.
Oh my! Thank goodness you are getting rid of your crocs!!! Just kidding... sort of.... haha ;) I can proudly say I have never owned a pair.
I have red toms and will openly admit they are a pretty ugly shoe (in my opinion anyway) (But not as ugly as crocs) but man are they handy! I got them for my trip to Honduras, but I keep finding myself slipping them on for random trips away from the house... But I love the Sperrys: Classic, I hear they are comfortable, AND they look good. There are other colors too if you weren't set on the white...
I choose Sperrys I guess. But if you are just all about comfort, then go with the toms.

Oh man, this is a tough choice because I own both (not Sperrys but similar boat shoes from Steve Madden) and they are both SO comfortable and versatile. Toms literally feel like you're walking on air though, so I'd say go with those! Trying not to be biased because I have a brand new obsession with boat shoes! xo

LOL!! :D I for one love Crocs even though I don't have any. But *fake* Crocs are sometimes even better. They seem to make them in even more interesting and unusual ways :D and I love those little things you can clip to them. Ah Crocs. The subject is always interesting!!! xx

I think Toms are awesome - they're really comfortable, easy to put on, and are cute!
