So far, I have organized my junk drawers and my closet.
It's a good feeling getting everything organized.
This week's challenge: Kitchen Counter Space
I hate this area of my kitchen.
(This is actually a thousand times better than what it looked like "before". I remembered to take a picture halfway through the purging process).
The problem with this area is that everything from the mailbox and coming in from the car gets thrown here.
Nothing had it's own place, and I was OVER it!!
So, I found this awesome little holder at TJ Maxx for $15 and had Noel hang it in the entryway by our garage. (Which is right around the corner from the original messy hot spot.)
Then, I gave everything a place from the original basket. Put Charlie's preschool pictures in his book, put cords in their proper drawers, found my original 4 gig iPod, and was left with this....
Now here's to hoping that everything stays like this!

smart idea! i need to start organizing a bit more, too. it's so hard with kids...they have no problems throwing anything and everything wherever they want!!

Perfect! I move this weekend and I'm hoping to start off with organization right away... we will see how it goes though...
