I Don't Know How She Does It~

As I said earlier, I saw I Don't Know How She Does It this past weekend.

It was kind of a mess.

I was obligated to see it because SJP was in it, but that's pretty much all I liked about it.

Even SHE was making me nervous. Not one scene went by without her running frantically around in her Pradas with her hair looking a disaster.

The movie was also SO extreme in every way.

It portrayed stay at home moms as ladies who basically don't do a thing, and when they finally get up off the couch, they drive to the gym for a few hours.

And it portrayed working moms as ladies who could never get it together, half way doing everything, and who never paid attention their kids.

I'm sure there are some people who fit both stereotypes, but the moms I know in both categories actually have it together.

The SAHMs I know pay attention to their kids, take them to do fun things, and are good teachers.

The working moms I know are very organized and are good at their "away from home" jobs AND are good moms.

I'm glad I saw it, but I Don't Know How She Does It is definitely a movie I would not recommend!~

Well good, saved me some money. Often time some of the best movies are ones that tell real life stories- as people in real life usually are pretty amazing and can do a lot.

I know! I was thinking about going to see that movie but wasn't sure if it would be worth anything... I think I'll save my money as well. LoL

Interesting! I have never heard of this movie. Never. I love movies like this though and I agree with every point you make. The stay at home mom's I know are busy bee's. Keeping house, making food, taking care of baby, and running errands...they run the show. That would be exhausting for me and nothing about that would be lazy.
