Noel and I went to see Wicked a few weeks ago.
It was, of course, incredible.
I saw the show for the first time in New York. I dropped off my bags at the hotel, walked to the theatre, bought a ticket, and sat down on the 4th row.
This time, we asked grandma a month in advance to babysit, I pumped for hours over the span of a few days, and I thought about my little man the entire time. We still sat on the 4th row.
So much has changed since the last time I saw Wicked....and I am so grateful for that! I love being Charlie's mommy. I can't get enough of him!
When I got back to my hotel in NYC, I came home to an empty room. When I got back from the show a few weeks ago, I came home to this....
Life is good.

Isn't it funny how your perspective changes? Even though you are with them 24/7, you miss them so much when they are away from you for even 5 minutes. You are a great mommy. Life is good. Love you!
What a sweet post Ashley! It's so true...how quickly they become the focus of your every minute! He is so cute! By the way, all of us (7 in all) are headed to Raleigh tomorrow night to see "Wicked". Can't wait....

You have the most adorable little boy ever! *sigh* AND you got to see Wicked... I'm so jealous. I do love that play.
Oh, your post has made me so excited to 1) see Wicked tomorrow night and 2) hold my own little guy in a few months. =-)
