West Side~

Noel and I had a great date night last Friday.

He took me to a super nice restaurant in downtown Raleigh, The Mint. If you are looking for a nice restaurant for a fancy date night...go here!!

Noel also bought me tickets to see West Side Story.

AKA one of my favorite Broadway shows of all time.

NC Theatre did a pretty good job.

I am a West Side snob...so a show has to be almost perfect to even compare to the movie.

A few key points that did not meet my approval.

1. Tony was short. Tony can NOT be short.

2. Maria was a little bottom heavy. No no

3. Maria's voice was a bit too vibrato for her character.

4. The playground scene in the end was completely destroyed when Chino came out about 2 seconds late to shoot Tony. Maybe it was staged that way...but it was super anticlimatic. Chino shot Tony when he was already in Maria's arms...so technically he should have taken them both out.

5. Maria didn't freak out enough in the finale. I needed more anguish.

Besides those 5 things :-) I thought the show was nice. The voices were great and the choreography was wonderful.

Now...if you have no clue what I'm talking about in these 5 points...shame on you. Shame. You either need to drive to Blockbuster immediately...or you can borrow my Special Edition Copy.

Update~

So....we found out that we are having a baby BOY!!!

He is super healthy and was yawning and moving his mouth like he was eating throughout the entire ultrasound.

It was a good day...Noel, my mom, and Noel's mom came to the ultrasound to see baby!
--------------------------------------

This past weekend, me, my mom, and one of my mom's best friends Deb, went to Richmond, VA for Time Out for Women.

It was amazing! I love being with mom and Deb, and the conference was incredible.

Well.....short post for now. I hope everyone is enjoying the fall. Can't wait for the holiday season!!!!!~

Boo to the Flu~

My doctor told me that I needed to get a flu shot because of being pregnant during flu season.

Noel and I went to Walgreens to get our flu shot. (I've never had a flu shot before)

About an hour later I started feeling nauseous.

The next morning, I woke up for work and could barely make it out the door.

I felt so sick.

I got to school, and the other dance teacher was so good to me, and told me to go home immediately, that she would take care of my classes.

I went to the doctor, and he said that I had a bad reaction to the shot.

Ugh!! But, he said that it would only last for 24 hours. Thank goodness.

But, on a happier note, the doctor listened to the baby's heartbeat and the heartbeat was super healthy.

The doctor said, "It's a girl. When you come in here next week to find out the baby's sex, and it's not a girl, you can get your money back."

Hahah...so we'll see next week if Baby Anderson is a girl or a boy!~

Oh baby!!~

Soooo....this post has been a long time coming.

I'M PREGNANT!!!

Yay!!!

Today I'm 15 weeks pregnant.

Due Date: March 10, 2010 (Spring baby!)

Noel and I are so excited.

Everything has been going really well so far.

About week 7 and 8 I felt gross and nauseous.

Week 8 I went to New York with my sister Sarah. If it weren't for her sweet angel self, I would have suffered!

I'm feeling great now...just super, super tired! But, I'll take it!!

We find out in 2 weeks if we're having a girl or a boy!

Depressing Movie Endings~

Have you ever seen a pretty decent movie.....

and you're waiting for a pretty decent to really good ending....

and then a character dies...or the couple doesn't end up together...or it just ends?

Why do they make movies like this?

We go to the movies to ESCAPE reality...not to be reminded of it!!!

Example...Nights of Rodanthe...*Spoiler Alert* if you haven't seen it...

Diane Lane and Richard Gere have this beautiful romance during the movie....

and he DIES in the end....WHY???

Another movie....Friday Night Lights...love the tv show...hate the movie...

A high school football team from Texas makes it all the way to the state champs...

and LOSE??

What sports movie makes the main team lose in the end??

Do you guys have any other movies you would like to add to the list?~

I Heart Jeff McLean~

Jeff McLean served his mission in North Carolina 10 years ago.

My family fell in LOVE with him...As did many other people.

I got in touch with him a few months ago and found out that he was traveling with the Broadway musical, "Legally Blonde"...and they were coming to Durham!!

So...me, Noel, Mom, James, and Sarah went to see him.

He was...obviously....AMAZING!!!

Charleston~

Noel and I went to Charleston, SC for my Spring Break. (It was my Christmas present from Noel.)

We stayed at the Battery Carriage House Inn. It was so nice to get away. The weather was cold the first day, but beautiful for the rest of the days. We even got us a nice farmer's tan!

Here are some pics from our trip.

On the road.

We passed about 63 sketchy South of the Border signs.

And then the real thing.

Gross.

Noel in front of our Bed and Breakfast.

Me in front of our place.

The Battery Carriage House Inn.

Breakfast in Bed. Delivered to us every morning on a silver platter. I wish everyday was a vacation!

Walking around.

On a carriage tour ride.

We kept passing this one restaurant...Jestine's. It always looked like this.

Crazy lines!!! So we decided to check it out one day...walked in at the perfect time....and it was amazing!!! We could barely walk afterwards.. we were so full!!

Noel and his yummy food.

Me and my amazing fried shrimp.

Movie theatre used in "The Notebook". Love that movie!!

Our last day!

Celine Dion~

I'm finally getting to my Celine Dion pictures!!!!

Only 4 months later!!

These past 4 months have been CRAZY!! so please forgive.

Me and Catie went to the Celine concert at the RBC Center.

It was AHHH MAZZZ INGGG!!!

We sat on the 6th row from the stage.

Pic of Celine Dion and her fierceness!

When Celine left, she passed RIGHT by our row. Catie held me up...and I ALMOST touched her!!!

After the show, we tried to get a little closer to the stage.

And then security asked us to leave!!!

Haha!!! It was a great night!

Catie and I also went to Mama Mia the Broadway Musical in Greensboro in March...and we're going to see Taylor Swift in June!!!~
